As a Kief Davidson-created documentary series living up to its title, Netflix’s ‘Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing’ can only be described as equal parts harrowing and shocking. That’s because it delves into the disturbing allegations of abuse against Tiffany Smith by the acquaintances, collaborators, and former friends of her daughter, internet sensation Piper Rockelle. Amongst these accusers is fellow online personality Raegan Beast, but since he was never really a part of Piper’s inner circle or “Squad,” we can’t help but wonder more about his career.

Reportedly born on November 19, 1999, in Maryland as the eldest of eight children in an eventually blended family, Raegan Beast understood at an early age that he was different from most. It was through their management teams that Raegan first came across Piper, resulting in them building a friendship of sorts and ultimately even doing a few videos and live streams together. The former was still primarily based in his hometown, while the latter was in California alongside her momager, Tiffany Smith, but they often let him hang out for extended periods to film together. They were doing exactly this one evening in 2017 when the then-17-year-old decided to go live to chat with their fans, only for it to end after Tiffany allegedly forced two kisses on the underage boy.
Raegan and Piper’s bond consequently dwindled down, yet the former didn’t let it affect his individual career – he was initially afraid the incident would lead to a big controversy, but there were no viral clips of the kisses on the internet the next morning, so he simply did his best to move on from the past. The teenager honed in on his career as not only a creator but also an actor as and singer, resulting in his debut role being in the television series ‘Misshaps’ the same year. He followed this up with his debut single “No 2 Love” in 2017 too, after which he made an appearance in ‘Flunky’s Upset’ (2017) and then the short film ‘Here’ in 2020. Since then, he has released 6 more singles as well as an EP.

Considering Raegan’s lasting career as a public figure – more than a decade and counting – it goes without saying that he has managed to accumulate significant wealth for himself. His primary source of income appears to be his music career as of writing, yet for a long time, it has been his standing as an influencer on all different social media platforms.
