Directed by Vanessa Caswill, ‘Reminders of Him’ is a romantic drama film that centers on the challenges faced by Kenna Rowan, a woman who is released on parole after serving a six-year sentence for the vehicular manslaughter of her former boyfriend, Scotty Landry. In an interview with WWD, Maika Monroe, who plays Kenna in the film, spoke about the character. She expressed, “I mean, you meet her, she’s just gotten out of prison, she’s trying to get her life back together. And she’s really a broken person, not only with the loss of her partner, the person that she loved most in the world, but also her childhood.” A mother’s grief and a lover’s past converge meaningfully in the story through Kenna’s journey.
