Ryan Serhant, now a thriving real estate mogul with a devoted family, began his love story with Emilia Bechrakis Serhant back in 2011. Emilia had been living in London at the time and was only visiting New York when they first crossed paths. They met during a menorah lighting while attending a Greek-Jewish charity event. She later shared that she never intended to stay in New York, but once she met Ryan, they connected instantly. Emilia joked that he was giving her so much attention and seemed so perfect that she briefly wondered if he might be gay or already married, because she couldn’t believe someone like him was genuinely showing interest in her.
Emilia said that although they initially planned to spend only one night together, Ryan called her the very next day and asked her out for a drink. What began as a spontaneous encounter quickly grew into a relationship that lasted for years. After completing her studies, she moved to New York in 2016 to practice law and to build a life with Ryan. She said he was the first man she ever introduced to her father, and that same year, the couple married in a Greek church. Ryan and Emilia have built a beautiful relationship, and in 2019, they welcomed their daughter, Zena, expanding their family. Celebrating 14 years together. For Halloween 2025, they fully took on a Harry Potter theme and dressed in coordinated costumes and celebrated the occasion together as a family. Travel is another important part of their life. They often visit Greece, a place that holds personal significance for Emilia. She spent part of her childhood there, and it represents half of her heritage. Professionally, their partnership has grown even stronger. In September 2025, Emilia officially joined SERHANT as a real estate agent.
