Considering her rich Indian background and heritage, 29-year-old Sarover Kaur Aujla felt like she was pressured into the idea of marriage with only an Indian man at one point. However, now that she has grown up and genuinely learned to prioritize her own desires, she knows that all she really wants is a caring, kind, as well as funny man, no matter his roots. Little did she know she would find it in 32-year-old Kaleem “Kal” Pasha on Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind: UK’ season 2, just for them to then navigate their differences to the best of their abilities.
Sarover and Kal’s Shared Values Are What Pulled Them to One Another
From the moment Wigan native Kal first came across Buckinghamshire resident Sarover in the pods, he felt an innate spark thanks to her beautiful laugh, posh accent, and radiating kindness. Thankfully, the sentiment was reciprocated owing to how articulate as well as genuine he was at every step of the way, resulting in them not having any lulls in their conversation despite having just met. What’s more is that they soon found common ground in terms of their core values and the roles they wish to play in their future marriages, making them realize they are truly aligned.
There could have been a hiccup when Kal admitted that he is actually half-English and half-Pakistani, since there has always been a divide between India and Pakistan, but it didn’t bother Sarover. In fact, she even reassured him that it wouldn’t be a problem for her family because while they did once pressure her into dating from her own ethnicity, they have since apologized to her and are actually very open-minded. Therefore, following more such deep conversations that underscored the significance of family in their lives despite both their parents divorcing when they were around 18, they happily got engaged. Kal even started calling his partner “Princess” before eventually calling himself her Prince.
Sarover and Kal Seem to Have Parted Ways for Good
Sarover and Kal’s initial meeting went as beautifully as expected, with him being decked out in the traditional South Asian attire he had packed by pure coincidence and them admitting they love one another. However, things changed almost as soon as they landed in Cyprus for their getaway because he conceded that while he believes they are perfect together, she is not his usual type. In fact, he said he has only ever dated white women with blonde hair – her complete opposite – which started making her feel really insecure. She tried to let it go and just be happy about the fact that he was so comfortable and honest with her that he didn’t mind sharing such details, but she couldn’t. Unfortunately, from what we can tell, this gradually snowballed into much more, leading them to part ways for good. It also doesn’t appear as if they have since rekindled any connection between them despite the fact that they once shared a beautiful bond.
Sarover and Kal’s Priorities Are Their Careers and Their Families Today
Since Sarover has always preferred to focus on her education as well as her profession above almost everything else, it’s no surprise that she is currently prioritizing the same. In other words, the Queen Mary University of London graduate is the proud co-owner and operator of her own medical company called SkinMedics in London, through which she offers clients a range of beauty/cosmetic skin treatments. Whenever she is not working, though, she prefers to either spend her time with loved ones like her parents, younger sisters, as well as close friends, or focus on her various passions, including fitness and traveling. This rising public figure is honestly a gym enthusiast and a health nut who has been to India, Paris, Dubai, Cotswolds, Mallorca, Venice, Milan, and Belfast in the past few years alone.
Coming to Kal, he is the proud co-owner of The Warehouse Gym located in the Hindley Business Centre in Wigan, which he runs with complete dedication because it is his life’s work. In fact, he even renovated the place in 2024 after having initially had help setting it up from his parents, but now it is he, as well as his fellow coaches, who have taken it to the next level. As for his personal life, like Sarover, he is unsurprisingly extremely passionate about fitness, and he has even garnered a bit of traveling experience over the years, especially with his dad now residing in Dubai. Therefore, the son, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle has not only resided there in Dubai at one point, but he has also been to Thailand, France, as well as Portugal in recent years.
