Helmed by Jason James, Lifetime’s ‘Secret Life of My Other Wife’ is a mystery thriller movie that follows Bliss, a young woman who forms a romantic connection with Nathan, a charming married man with two wives already in his life — Lauren and Jenna. Her love for him overlooks his plural marriage, and she enters his family. Soon, Carl, the brother of one of Nathan’s ex-wives, accuses him and his family of making his sister disappear. At first, Bliss doesn’t pay much attention to the allegations. But when she comes across the missing ex-wife’s belongings, she begins to question everything. As tensions arise within the household, she is afraid that she might be the next target. Since most of the story unfolds in and around the house, it serves as an additional character, adding much depth to the overall narrative.

‘Secret Life of My Other Wife’ was shot in the westernmost province of British Columbia, specifically in the city of Kelowna. Filming particularly commenced in February 2024 and carried on for a few weeks before concluding in the month of March. Throughout the production, the members of the cast as well as crew likely came together and executed their responsibilities to the best of their abilities. The enthralling narrative is brought to life by the stellar performances from a talented ensemble cast comprising Emma Johnson, Giles Panton, Alana Hawley Purvis, Teagan Vincze, and Benjamin J. Stevens. After breaking into the industry by featuring in a wedding commercial, Giles made his dreams come true as he landed roles in multiple projects, for which he has also won a few awards and nominations. Another award-winning actor in the lineup is Teagan, who showcases her talent and fulfills all the requirements her character demanded.

Emma Johnson as Bliss

In the Lifetime production, Emma Johnson portrays Bliss, the protagonist who finds herself in danger after moving in with her boyfriend and his two wives. Widely recognized for her roles in ‘Supernaturals’ and ‘School Spirits,’ she also features in several films, inclduing ‘Christmas in Alaska,’ ‘A Town Called Love,’ ‘Secrets of a Marine’s Wife,’ and ‘Just for the Summer.’ She also has a few short film credits to her name, such as ‘The Bad Party,’ ‘The Katherine Problem,’ ‘I Love You So Much It’s Killing Them,’ and ‘The Prodigal.’

Giles Panton as Nathan

Giles Panton steps into the role of Nathan, the mysterious partner of Bliss who already has two wives. He gained prominence for his portrayal of Billy Turner in ‘The Man in the High Castle,’ George in ‘It Was Always You,’ Chris Smith in ‘Chesapeake Shores,’ as well as ‘The Curtain.’ The latter is a short film for which he won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role at 2017 Back in the Box, California.
