Shannon Rose Fairweather had been watching ‘Survivor’ since she was 8. As she got older, she realized the show represented more than just a competition. She sensed it to be a holistic life experience that tests courage, adaptability, and strategy, qualities she wanted to imbibe in her own life. Drawn by the thrill of adventure and a belief in the power of inner strength, she knew she could thrive. Thus, when she bagged the chance to appear on season 49 of CBS’ ‘Survivor,’ she worked closely with the other members of her team, Red Uli tribe, stepping in to support them when needed while still playing a strong individual game.
Shannon never compromised her strategy, making it clear she had come to win and was determined to stay true to that mission. She relied on inner self-awareness and drew strength from within to stay grounded. Her determination and adaptability helped her move forward, advancing from one round to the next while staying focused on her goal of outlasting her competitors.
Shannon Fairweather Continues to Nurture Her Entrepreneurial Spirit Even Today
Shannon Rose Fairweather has carved a multifaceted career that is a mix of media, entrepreneurship, and community-building. In September 2013, she began working with In Full Force, a Boston-based team of marketing professionals, where she gained experience planning and organizing events with high-profile personalities, including Maria Menounos, while compiling and managing client databases. By September 2015, she had taken on a major creative role as the Creator and Managing Editor of Dirty Water Media’s teen-focused entertainment website, Dirty Water Teen, where she continues to direct content development and recruit contributing reporters. She also serves as a contributing reporter for Dirty Water TV on NESN and regularly contributes stories to Boston.com and the Boston Herald.
Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch Sustainable Sippin’ in August 2018, a business centered around sustainability and eco-conscious products. She was enrolled at Bentley University at the time and graduated with a Marketing degree in 2020. In August 2020, she founded Doing the Most, a lifestyle brand and platform designed to inspire creativity and personal development. Although both of these ventures remain important parts of her journey, Shannon has shifted her primary focus to The HerVibe Community, which she created after the COVID-19 lockdown.
HerVibe was born out of her personal desire to create a safe space for women to connect, grow, and engage in both virtual and in-person events. Through this platform, she organizes group sessions, Quantum Leap experiences, mirror work workshops, and energy-focused gatherings designed to help participants align with their personal goals. Shannon’s passion for empowering others through conversation and shared experiences has made HerVibe her central project today. Beyond her business endeavors, she has remained committed to her long-standing volunteer work at Home Suites Inn since January 2016. She has facilitated study sessions and offered mentorship for children in need of academic support.

Shannon Deeply Cherishes the Bond She Shares With Her Partner and Family
Shannon Rose Fairweather has built a life that is a reflection of the community she has intentionally cultivated. Her best friend, Sadiya, plays a central role in this, serving as the yoga teacher at Her Vibe. Together, they have created a space where people come to connect, learn, and grow, which Shannon sees as one of her proudest accomplishments. At the heart of her personal life is her partner, Daniel Linger, who has supported her every step of the way. In June 2025, the couple took a major step together and purchased a home in Boston, Massachusetts.
Shannon’s bond with her dog, Bella, was one of the most meaningful relationships in her life. Bella was her constant companion and when she passed away in January 2025, Shannon expressed her grief in the simplest but most heartfelt way, with a quiet “thank you” for the years they had together. Despite this loss, she continues to draw strength from her family, who remain a cornerstone in everything she does. Her parents, Bill and Julie Fairweather, own The Greatest Bar in Boston, a beloved local spot where Shannon once had the chance to meet Survivor legend Boston Rob, an encounter that gave her valuable advice for her own season of the show.
She is also close to her brother, Dan, and cherishes the shared adventures they’ve had over the years. Travel is another passion that Shannon shares with her family. In 2018, she and her mother even ran a travel page documenting their trip across Europe, a project that still brings her joy to look back on. The tradition of traveling together has continued, and in November 2024, the family explored Denmark together. Shannon has also leaned into her spiritual side in recent years. She is deeply interested in mindfulness and meditation and even attended a session with Krishna Das, the renowned kirtan singer/spiritual teacher known for bringing traditional Indian devotional music to the West. The experience deepened her commitment to living with intention, staying present, and creating meaningful connections in every area of her life.
