There is much in common between the risky journey that Coltrane undergoes in ‘Nemesis’ and the experiences of James, as both men try to keep their family lives intact while engaging in dangerous side hustles.

In ‘The Blacklist,’ FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen’s (Megan Boone) life changes dramatically after notorious criminal Raymond Reddington (James Spader) unexpectedly surrenders to the FBI after years as a wanted fugitive. Netflix’s ‘Lupin’ is a French crime drama series that tells the story of Assane Diop (Omar Sy), a skilled thief and the son of a Senegalese immigrant, who is fascinated by the adventures of the fictional thief Arsène Lupin. In the past, his life changed forever after his father was falsely accused by his wealthy employer, Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre), of stealing a valuable diamond necklace. Unable to survive the humiliation, the father takes his own life, leaving his son alone in Paris. Years later, Assane uses his talent for deception to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy, clear his father’s name, and seek revenge against the Pellegrini family at any cost.
However, not everything goes as planned, landing him in unexpected situations that may test his will to survive. George Kay and François Uzan are the creators of the show, which draws inspiration from the character Arsène Lupin, created by novelist Maurice Leblanc. The element of redemption and justice fuels the actions and crimes of the characters in the show, just like it does in the complex world of ‘Nemesis,’ which also includes characters willing to go the extra mile to achieve seemingly impossible goals.
