‘The Waterfront’ by Kevin Williamson tells the story of the Buckleys and their collapsing fishing empire based in Havenport, North Carolina. Backed into a corner, Marty pays off a substantial debt to a Mexican drug lord in exchange for the safety of his children at the moment.
