Netflix’s ‘The Predator of Seville’ chronicles the allegations of rape and sexual assault against a Spanish tour guide named Manuel Vela Blanco, AKA Manu White. An investigation led by survivor Gabrielle Nicole Vega sparked a movement that allowed other women to speak up against the Spaniard. Siobhan Brier, Zora Mihaley, and Amanda Gormsen are some of the women who featured in the documentary series and alleged that Manuel had either tried to or drugged them during a foreign trip.
Siobhan Brier Has Been Exploring Argentina With Her Husband
Siobhan Brier, who earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Playwriting, and Spanish from Penn State University in 2017, served as a Lifeguard at Lake Hideaway early on in her professional career. For a few months in 2016, she also worked at Penn State Alumni Call Center and Mid-State Literacy Council as an English Teacher. From 2017 to 2018, Siobhan was employed as a Salesperson at Sundance Vacation, expanding her skill set and career. In the following years, she switched several educational institutions, working as an English Teacher, such as Further School of English, Galapagos Language Academy, Landi English, and Teaching House. She also freelanced at Upwork, where she served as a writer and translator.
Taking her writing career further, she has been freelancing as an Executive Ghostwriter at Massive Alliance since August 2022 and working full-time at Inkless since May 2020. On the personal front, Siobhan leads an adventurous and fulfilling life with her husband, Fede Aguilar, whom she married on December 8, 2023, in New York City, surrounded by family and friends. The 30-year-old woman is currently enjoying hiking new trails and terrains in Argentina with her husband. In February 2026, the couple hiked Fitz Roy in Patagonia, Argentina. The couple also has a furry little friend named Argo, who completes their small family.
Zora Mihaley is a PhD Candidate in Political Science
Zora Mihaley pursued her bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s degree in demographics and social analysis from the University of California, Irvine. She has also served as a Course Assistant, Disability Inclusion Coordinator, Vice President of Social Affairs, and Teaching Assistant at the University. Besides that, Zora has experience as a Lead Field Organizer at the Orange County Labor Federation and as a Research Assistant at Chispa. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Political Science at UC Irvine, set to complete it by 2027.
In November 2024, she represented UC Irvine’s School of Social Sciences at the 2024 ASE Bargaining Convention in Pico Rivera. “Joined by my fellow incredible UAW members, we debated priorities, strategized for power, and worked toward a stronger vision for ASE working conditions at UC. When we organize, we win—solidarity forever!” she stated. In August 2025, she attended the 25th Solidarity Awards Gala to celebrate local heroes fighting for dignity, justice, and worker power.
Amanda Gormsen is Making a Difference in the World as an Air Pollution Specialist
The James Madison High School graduate, Amanda Gormsen, attended LinguaViva Language School (a William & Mary Summer Study Abroad Program) in Florence, Italy, where she studied Italian and Florentine Renaissance Art History. For her bachelor’s degree, she went to William & Mary and earned a double major in Environmental Policy and Finance. She then pursued her master’s degrees in Urban and Regional Planning and Latin American Studies at UCLA, from where she graduated in 2024. By then, she had already interned at Ross Langan & McKendree, LLP, and worked in federal consulting projects at the Department of Agriculture, Inter-American Development Bank, and the Department of the Treasury.

Throughout her professional career, Amanda has also worked at AidData as a Research Assistant, at Accenture Federal Services, and at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs as an Associate Instructor. For a few months in 2024, she served as a part-time Active Transportation Planner at LADOT. Amanda is currently employed at the California Air Resources Board, where she is an Air Pollution Specialist. Not much is known about her personal life, but it seems that she resides in Los Angeles, California, away from the limelight.
