Season 3 of Fox’s ‘The Floor‘ has returned with great anticipation and introduced the audience to 100 brilliant contestants. From categories such as European Geography to Classic Cars, each player had their unique expertise. Among them was chef Steven Havens, who was not only a culinary mastermind but also had immense knowledge and focus. Unlike many other competitors, who relied solely on their trivia expertise, he came prepared with a layered strategy, personal preparation, and the guidance of a dedicated coach. Ultimately, Steven’s extra steps set him apart and assisted him in securing his victory, alongside the grand prize of $250,000 in the end.
Chef Steven Havens Played a Strategic Game Guided by His Coach
Chef Steven Havens’ journey on the show was highlighted by his confidence and personal drive. He entered the competition as an expert in the TV Chef category and faced five intense duels throughout the season. From the beginning, he adopted a play-it-safe strategy and considered his position in the corner an advantage. The chef also refused to take any wrong steps, which could lead him back to his home. Additionally, Steven had implemented this meticulously developed plan, which was created with his coach’s help.
Steven revealed during the finale that he had practiced every night with his loved ones using a chess timer to experience the real-time pressure of the game. In the best of the three duels, he won two of them and finally secured his place as the champion. This ended up paving his way toward the grand prize of $250,000. After his win, Steven finally shared that his coach was none other than his husband and also disclosed that his unwavering support has been one of the major driving forces for him throughout the show.
