Created by Cullen Crawford, Netflix’s ‘Strip Law’ steps right into the unpredictable joy ride that is Las Vegas, and refuses to take its foot off the gas pedal. Lincoln Gumb starts out as a failed lawyer whose uptight nature holds him back from greatness. That is, until Sheila Flambe turns his life upside down, bringing out his inner trickster to create a legacy beyond compare. With each case solved in this dark comedy animated series, Lincoln and team come one step closer to becoming Sin City’s most notorious legal firm, and when the season’s final episode pits them against hotshots Pringus and Bench, Lincoln puts everything he’s learnt to use and emerges victorious. However, the ride is still far from over, and with a sequel already greenlit, fans can expect season 2 to come to Netflix sometime around early 2027.
Strip Law Season 2 Might Return to the Mercenary Plot Thread
Although the ending of ‘Strip Law’ season 1 cannot exactly be called a cliffhanger, it still doesn’t address the elephant in the room: Glem’s transformation into a cyclops. For all we know, this can be a part of the show’s many running bits and gags, but it can also just as easily be the start of a whole new chapter for the narrative. While season 2 can introduce a supernatural element to the legal adventures, it is more likely that Glem’s metamorphosis is a sign of future arcs getting even more outlandish than ever before. This, however, is a welcome change, as Lincoln and his team shine the brightest when the odds are at their most absurd. So far, the show has already pitted him against Santa Claus, a cabal of elites, and even God. As such, it remains to be seen how the creators can one-up themselves from this point onwards.

One small detail that goes unnoticed by the end of the season is the small tease for a future plotline at the end of episode 7. With Lawbert the mascot turning out to be a roaring success, Lincoln seems assured of his firm’s prolonged success. Deep in the rural underbelly of somewhere far away, however, we find a mercenary has his eyes set on killing Lawbert, that is, Irene. Based on some ritual wall paintings, it appears that Lawbert’s design lines up with a mythic beast of the past that the mercenary is prophesied to kill. Given the present circumstances, though, the stage is set for a brand new comedy of errors, one that has real, lethal probabilities at play. However, we can expect Glem’s pistol-whipping skills to come in handy here once again, provided that Lincoln and company are ready for what’s coming.
Strip Law Season 2 is Expected to Bring Back Familiar Faces
Season 2 of ‘Strip Law’ is most likely to retain its entire core cast, with actor Adam Scott all set to return as Lincoln Gumb. Fans can also expect Janelle James to reprise her role as Sheila Flambe, with potentially even more in store for her arc than before. Actors Stephen Root and Aimee Garcia are also likely to step back into the roles of Glem Blorchman and Irene Gumb, respectively. While there is a good chance that Keith David will come back for the second season as Steve Nichols, the sworn enemy of Lincoln and team, it is also possible that his role in the story is already over, given his defeat at the lawyer’s gala. The same goes for the actors behind Pringus and Bench, given the characters’ apparent loss of cognition in the show’s final moments.

Fans can expect some new faces to join the case for the sequel, complementing the already star-studded cast with fresh talent on display. Given that each episode of the show revolves around a new eccentric case or party, there will likely be many opportunities for new actors to show off their voice acting skills and comedic chops. It remains to be seen whether actor Shannon Gisela will return to the show for a second season, but fans can also expect some potential cameo appearances from actors and voice actors alive, all to make the show’s creative exploits even more entertaining.
Strip Law Season 2 Can Expand More on Sheila’s Backstory
The inaugural run of the show ends with Lincoln not only accepting his legal pyrotechnics as a part of his identity, but also the feature that makes life in Vegas meaningful in the first place. As his arc is effectively over, season 2 has the chance to extend its focus to Sheila’s past, present, and future. From what we know, she left her family behind at an early age and has been duking it out with the world ever since. A continuation of her arc can bring in many more wild elements to the forefront, especially the ones that have already been teased, such as her failed gig at a controversial beauty contest or her time as a creative lead at Magician vs Animals. Lincoln and Sheila’s budding love story is also all set to take the center stage in the sequel, as both characters have confessed to having strong feelings about one another now.

Amidst the episodic chaos of the show, it is easy to forget that Gumb and Flambe Legal is actually made up of not one, but two lawyers, with the other being Glem himself. Season 2 can potentially change that by giving the veteran more cases, especially given his popularity boost following the Wetfinger town documentary. How his dynamic with Irene evolves over time can also make for a dramatically rich plot beat, especially as she might be an upcoming target for the mercenary on the loose. Additionally, we can expect the show to introduce new antagonists on the legal front, given that Pringus and Bench have been defeated, and Steve Nichols is already on the cusp of losing all his goodwill in Sin City. Though it remains to be seen whether or not any new bigshots can beat Lincoln and Sheila at the game they have already perfected.
