A new holiday movie by GAF is set to begin filming soon! The Great American Family Network’s latest Christmas movie, ‘The Timeless Christmas Card,’ will start filming in Victoria, British Columbia, in March 2025. Since GAF movies typically take around two to three months to complete, filming may wrap up by June or July 2025. Moreover, as it is a holiday-season movie, a release on or around Christmas is expected.
‘The Timeless Christmas Card’ follows a hardworking woman who is assigned the task of selling her grandmother’s old greeting card shop. However, she unexpectedly finds herself transported back to the store’s prime in 1945, alongside its charming manager. As they navigate this unexpected journey through time, they must work together to protect the store’s legacy, secure the future, and perhaps discover a spark of romance along the way. The cast as well as the creative team of the movie remain under wraps for now.
GAF has produced a range of original Christmas movies since its rebranding. In 2022, the network introduced holiday films such as ‘Destined at Christmas,’ ‘Catering Christmas,’ and ‘Christmas Lovers Anonymous.’ The 2023 lineup expanded with titles like ‘Destined 2: Christmas Once More’, ”Twas the Text Before Christmas,’ ‘Bringing Christmas Home,’ and ‘Journey to Christmas.’ In 2024, GAF continued its holiday programming with films including ‘Christmas in Scotland’, ‘A Christmas Castle Proposal’, ‘A Vintage Christmas’, ‘A Royal Christmas Ballet’, ‘Once Upon a Christmas Wish’, and ‘A Little Women’s Christmas’.
The network has utilized Victoria, as a filming location for its Christmas movies. Notably, the 2024 film ‘Home Sweet Christmas’ was filmed in Victoria, capturing the city’s scenic beauty to enhance the holiday narrative. This production choice aligns with GAF’s strategy of selecting picturesque settings that complement their family-oriented storytelling.
