Trena Archie Was Chasing Fortune Before Life Forced Her to Start Over
Trena Archie was born sometime in 1968 in Wellington, Texas. Although she never got to know her biological father, she grew up surrounded by the love and support of her mother, Beatrice, and sister, Lisa. In Spring 1982, her mother married Michael, but he allegedly became abusive toward her, which led to their separation. Things took a turn when he allegedly followed her to a club one day, where she reportedly shot him, leading to his death. Although Beatrice was arrested for murder, she reportedly won the case on the grounds of self-defense. The incident left a mark on Trena’s life, and she admittedly began acting out. She was expelled and barred from attending any public schools in Texas after she reportedly attacked her school principal.
Trena moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to live with her aunt and completed her graduation. She began partying but also got a job in Housekeeping at a major casino. She claimed it led to her entanglement with several rich men until she allegedly met a well-known boxer. While their alleged relationship bloomed, Trena said she also got attention from a well-known Vegas jeweler. Amid everything, she decided to pursue her dream of acting and moved to Los Angeles, California. There, Trena began working at a Strip Club. She had explained how she got a taste of the high life and even performed at private parties for A-list celebrities. However, everything changed when she discovered that she was pregnant. Trena returned to her mother in Texas, and by November 1989, she welcomed her son, Jaston, into the world.
Trena Searched for Stability When an Alleged Betrayal Changed Everything
Three months later, Trena returned to Los Angeles. On the show, she claimed that her friend, Angela, went to the tabloids and alleged that the renowned boxer was the father of Jaston. Trena admitted she went along with the allegation and did several interviews without any proof of paternity. She asserted that she reportedly came clean when the boxer was accused of violent assault and sent to prison. To provide for her son, Trena once again turned to working as a stripper. She was then introduced to a 55-year-old high-end Salon Manager, David. Their connection was instantaneous, and she moved in with him. On the show, she alleged he asked for a loan to open their own salon and had promised to provide her with the profit. Although it quickly became a success, she became suspicious when she didn’t receive any profits.
Trena alleged she caught David cheating on her and learned he was not paying the salon employees. It led to their breakup and pushed her into a spiral since she had lost her hard-earned money by investing in the salon. Although she got a few minor roles in a few films, it was insufficient. Trena claimed that she felt trapped and was at rock bottom. On a fateful day sometime in 1993, she said she went to David’s new apartment while she was drunk. She stated that she waited for him with a box cutter in her hand. When he arrived, she claimed, she attacked him, injuring him severely, before fleeing the scene. Trena was arrested and charged with attempted murder. However, when David did not turn up as the key witness during the trial, the charges against her were reportedly dismissed. It gave her a second chance to retake the reins of her life.
Trena Has Embraced a Quiet Life Revolving Around Faith and Family
When Trena’s charges were dismissed, she expressed an immense sense of relief. Speaking on the matter, she stated, “I could not believe every shackle that was taken off of me, from the dancing, from the attempted murder, from the fighting, from the hurt. I was free.” According to her own account on the show, she alleged David never showed up for the trial because of his fear that he could’ve been exposed as an alleged “con man.” Since Trena’s mother had fallen ill, she moved back in with Beatrice in Wellington, Texas. In 2008, more than 15 years after the incident, she crossed paths with David when visiting her friends in Los Angeles.
Trena explained how she and David had shared a polite albeit awkward conversation. In that brief exchange, she learned he had opened another salon. Despite the troublesome past, she made up her mind to make the most of her second chance and sort out her priorities. Trena became more involved in her church and mainly the community in the hope of providing for the people. As of today, the Texas resident is a doting wife and loving mother of 5 beautiful children. In the end, Trena acknowledged, “All those things I chased after it wasn’t really worth it. Everything I needed to succeed was in me. It was not in the things, it wasn’t in the men, it wasn’t in the lifestyle. It was all in me.” From what we can tell, Trena Archie is currently leading a life focused on herself and her family, as that’s what truly matters.
