Many seemed to distance themselves from him, largely because Chase was upset over Louis’ elimination and appeared to blame Trey for orchestrating it. As tensions rose, the latter began building rapport with members of the opposing group, further straining his relationship with Chase. Though his loyalty was questioned, he ultimately silenced doubts by stepping up during a crucial challenge and delivering a strong performance that helped his team secure immunity.
Trey made an effort to mend fences with Chase by suggesting they set aside their differences and collaborate strategically by targeting Kyle for elimination. He approached his team captain with an alliance offer. Although Chase agreed to the plan in conversation, he ultimately went back on his word during the elimination round. This betrayal only deepened the rift between them. By the penultimate episode, Trey had proven himself a formidable force in physical challenges, which made him a growing threat in the eyes of the other players. During a double elimination round, several contestants voted against him, and when the wheel’s needle landed on his name, Trey was sent home when he was just steps away from the finale.

He graduated in 2019 from Otterbein University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and has openly spoken about the financial hardships his family faced, including the burden of home loans.
