Trina completed the task smoothly, though she was not alone, as all contestants advanced past the opening round. The second round raised the difficulty, requiring participants to stack 10 blocks within 30 seconds. Trina narrowly missed the cutoff and was forced into the third round, where the pressure intensified. This time, contestants had to stack 16 blocks, and Trina rose to the occasion. Her successful completion secured her place among the top 100 contestants.
In the following challenge, Trina selected the Blocks event as her area of competition. While she did not advance directly, her teammates performed well enough to keep her in the game, allowing her to progress to the next stage. She later became part of an all-women team facing another group that had previously taunted a different all-female squad by declaring that an attack on one woman was an attack on all. The contest ultimately came down to a one-on-one obstacle course race. Trina competed against Player 38, Kady Bach, but lost the matchup. Due to the overall team performance, Trina and her teammates were eliminated from the competition.

Trina Horvath has built a strong professional career in engineering and her advances have been supported by a solid academic foundation. She studied Civil Engineering at Texas Tech University, where she completed her bachelor’s degree between 2010 and 2015. During her time at the university, she was actively involved with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), serving as the Caprock Liaison, an experience that helped shape her leadership and industry awareness early on. Her professional journey began with an internship at HNTB in Dallas, Texas, in 2014, where she worked within the roadway design group. This early exposure laid the groundwork for her long-term association with the firm. In May 2015, she joined HNTB full-time as a Transportation Engineer II, E.I.T., based in Plano, Texas.
Over nearly seven years with the company, she contributed to transportation and infrastructure projects and gained extensive experience in design, planning, and engineering execution. During this period, she also earned her Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification through NCEES. In March 2022, she advanced to her current role as a Senior Design Engineer at KSA in Texas. In this position, she continues to work on complex engineering projects, applying her years of experience while taking on greater responsibility and leadership within her field.
Beyond her engineering career, she has carved out an impressive creative presence. She is an active content creator on platforms such as Instagram and Twitch, where she also engages in gaming and lifestyle content. Adding another dimension to her portfolio, she is a coloring book author and designer, with her products available for sale on Amazon. In 2025, she expanded into modeling, walking the ramp at New York Fashion Week in September and appearing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October. She is a dynamic professional who has always created new avenues for herself. She calls herself a “STEM baddie” and is uninhibited in living up to the extraordinary persona she has made for herself.

Trina has always made philanthropy a central part of her life and she believes in giving back and uplifting others. Over the years, she has been involved in several meaningful initiatives, including her work with Children’s International, through which she sponsors a child and consistently encourages others to take part in similar efforts. She is also actively involved in organizing and contributing to food pantry donation drives, ensuring support reaches families and individuals in need. Her commitment to service extends to her long-standing involvement with the American Red Cross. Since August 2017, Trina has volunteered as part of the Disaster Relief Team, dedicating her time and energy to emergency response efforts.
One of her most notable contributions was assisting with the operation of the Hurricane Harvey mega shelter in Dallas, Texas, in 2017, where she helped support displaced families during a critical time. On the personal front, Trina shares a fulfilling and joyful life with her husband, Shaun Horvath. The couple has been married since April 2021 and is settled in Dallas, Texas. They enjoy traveling whenever their schedules allow and took memorable trips in 2025, visiting the Bahamas in March and later heading to Hawaii, where Trina experienced diving and snorkeling.
