Physical strength and endurance play a crucial role in navigating the demanding challenges of Prime Video’s ‘Beast Games,’ where contestants are constantly pushed to their physical and mental limits. In Season 2, Tyler Davis assembled his team by surrounding himself with individuals he trusted and believed he could rely on under pressure. However, that early confidence quickly placed a target on their backs. As team captain, Tyler found himself under intense scrutiny and was forced to prove his value as a leader and earn the trust of his teammates through consistent performance in challenges.
Tyler Davis Had a Falling Out With a Close Ally During the Competition
At the start of the season, Tyler Davis, who was a member of Team Strong, understood that building alliances would be essential to advancing in the game. The two players he trusted most early on were Player 148, Ian, and Player 179, Eric. Working together, the trio successfully got through the opening challenges and built a sense of loyalty. When the contestants were later split into separate groups for different games, Tyler and Eric both found themselves competing in the Bluff challenge. Backing one another, they managed to survive and move forward into the next round, which featured a demanding obstacle course. The obstacle course required competitors to form teams of five. Tyler assembled his own group, but Eric was not included.

Eric felt sidelined and accused Tyler of not being completely honest. Eventually, Tyler’s team and Eric’s team were pitted against each other, with an unexpected twist that the players could use pugil sticks to knock opponents out of contention, and only the first five would advance. In a dramatic face-off at the final Y-shaped intersection, Tyler and Eric went head-to-head. Tyler ultimately used his pugil stick to push Eric aside and secured his own place in the next challenge. During the Captain Bribe challenge, contestants were required to select a team leader. While most of his team backed Tyler, Player 174, Vance openly questioned his trustworthiness. Despite the doubts, Tyler stepped into the role and held the fate of his teammates in his hands.
Tyler Davis is Winning Many Titles as a Strongman Today
Tyler Davis is an accomplished American strongman whose career in the Under 90 kg division has shown consistent growth since he began competing in 2021. Representing the country, he has remained active through 2025 across both international and regional competitions. His early appearance at the 2021 U90 World’s Strongest Man in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he placed ninth out of ten, marked his entry onto the global stage. In 2022, Tyler built momentum with a sixth-place finish at the Rainier Classic Pro-Am in Burien, Washington, before achieving a major breakthrough later that year by winning the U90 World’s Strongest Man title in Daytona Beach.
That victory established him as a top contender in his weight class. He followed this success in 2023 with a second-place finish at the U90 World’s Strongest Man in Charleston, West Virginia. Tyler continued his strong run in 2024, placing third at the U90 World’s Strongest Man in Madison, Wisconsin, and repeated that result in 2025 in Arlington, Texas. His broader competitive résumé includes multiple title wins, with medals signifying first-place finishes at Official Strongman Games in 2022, Ultimate Strongman in 2022, Power Systems League in 2024 and 2025, and the Arnold Amateur in 2025.
These results reflect sustained excellence across major strongman circuits. In addition to competition, Davis is recognized for notable event performances, including a standout showing in the Mammoth Circus Dumbbell press ladder at the Official Strongman Games. He also competes as a GRID League athlete with So. Beach Palms. Beyond sport, he expanded his professional profile with the release of his book ‘The Night Before Liftmas’ in November 2024 and currently works as a coach with Ströng Crüe, where he mentors developing athletes while continuing his own competitive journey.
Tyler Davis is Married to a Strongwoman Who Challenges Him
Away from competition, Tyler Davis’ life is closely intertwined with strength sport through his marriage to fellow athlete Megan “Latte” Davis. Megan is a U64 professional lightweight strongwoman, and the two were married in June 2025. Tyler and Megan frequently train, travel, and compete alongside one another, turning major events into shared experiences rather than solitary pursuits. One standout moment came at the Official Strongman Games, where both athletes finished third in their respective divisions and it was an achievement they have openly celebrated as a rare and meaningful accomplishment done side by side.
The same season also proved especially significant, as both went on to win their National Championships, reinforcing their status as elite competitors in their weight classes. Together, they have appeared at several major strength events, including Official Strongman Games, Limit Breaker, and the Shaw Classic circuit, building parallel competitive résumés while supporting one another through the pressures of the sport. Outside the gym and competition floor, they share a quieter life centered on family, including a dog they affectionately treat as their baby. They challenge and push one another to do better and are proud of the life they have made for themselves.
