Tyson Wrensch’s Bank Account Was Drained While He Was on Vacation
Tyson Wrensch shared that he first met Danny Garcia in 2002 while living in San Francisco. At the time, Tyson was working as a sales director and enjoying a stable, successful life. He and Garcia bonded over their mutual love for travel, luxury, and the finer things in life. Their connection grew quickly, and Tyson soon came to see Danny as his best friend. Even after Tyson relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, for work, the two continued to stay in contact. When he later received a generous severance package from his company, he shared the news on MySpace and mentioned his plans to take a vacation in South America.
In 2007, while Tyson was vacationing in Brazil, he stopped at an internet café to pay his credit card bills and was shocked to discover that all his accounts had been completely drained. Alarmed, he immediately returned home, only to find signs that someone had been staying there in his absence. Upon closer inspection, the belongings allegedly appeared to be Garcia’s. Tyson said that when he confronted Garcia, his friend allegedly made excuses and then vanished from his life. Tyson reported the incident to the police, but since some time had passed, there was little they could do about it. He was allegedly told that “until someone got hurt,” their hands were tied.
Tyson Wrensch Penned a Book on His Alleged Interactions With Danny Garcia
In 2013, following Danny Garcia’s conviction for the murder of Clifford Lambert, Tyson Wrensch released a book titled ‘Until Someone Gets Hurt: The Multi-Layered Crime Spree and Murder by a Master Criminal Enterprise,’ co-authored with Sherrie Lueder. In it, Tyson alleged that Garcia had been operating a long-running con and criminal network with his associates. He claimed his goal in writing the book was to raise awareness about financial crimes committed by skilled con artists. He also stated that he and Garcia had planned to rent an apartment in Munich, Germany, but that Garcia allegedly failed to show up a day before the move and instead returned to the US.
In addition, Tyson spoke about meeting Thomas White, a man whom Garcia had previously accused of wrongdoing, and alleged that he once saw Garcia receiving money from him. Tyson’s book serves as the foundation for an episode of ‘Forbidden.’ He also appears in the series ‘A Stranger in My Home’ and ‘American Hustlers,’ where he provides insight into the case. He continues to be a central alleged witness in matters involving Danny and his associates, having shared his experiences and allegations as part of ongoing discussions about the criminal network he describes.

Tyson Wrensch began his career in 1991, studying Political Science at Santa Clara University. After graduation, he entered the tech and sales sector, joining Acer in 1995 as a sales support associate. He quickly moved to Intel Corporation, where he spent nearly eight years in various roles, including Retail Channel Manager from 1997 to 2001 and Business Development Manager from 2001 to 2005. During this period, he managed retail marketing programs and in-store representatives across regions, including San Francisco, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Honolulu, while also overseeing consumer product launches and competitive strategies in the EMEA region from Intel’s Munich office.
In 2008, he transitioned into the gaming and casino industry, starting with TableMAX Gaming, Inc., as a distributor of electronic table games. From 2009 to 2010, he served as Director of Sales at Players Travel, where he partnered with global casinos to create cruise programs that enhanced player loyalty and revenue. Following this, he joined TransAct Technologies and served as Western Regional Sales Manager until 2013. During his time at the organization, he managed relationships with casinos across the Central and Western US, led sales of TransAct printers, and pioneered the launch of Epicentral, a casino marketing solution. From 2014 to 2018, he was at Gartner as a Senior Account Executive in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After decades in corporate sales, technology, and gaming, he has now retired from the business world. Today, he has redirected his focus toward true crime storytelling and raising awareness about financial crimes. Leveraging his professional experience, analytical skills, and investigative approach, he shares detailed accounts of high-profile cases and scams, educating audiences about fraud prevention and the inner workings of criminal enterprises.
