Akshaya Kubiak, popularly known as Ash Armand, was convicted and sentenced for the 2020 murder of Herleen Dulai. When the news of his arrest broke out right after the killing, his colleagues from ‘Gigolos’ were shocked to their cores, including Vin Armani. The case is the primary subject of Paramount+’s ‘Sin City Gigolo: A Murder in Las Vegas,’ a three-part docuseries that features several of his former co-stars. However, since Vin has retired from the entertainment industry, he isn’t featured on the show.
Vin Armani Has Worn Many Hats Throughout His Professional Career
After working on Showtime’s ‘Gigolos’ for six years or so, Vin Armani decided to quit the male escort business and became focused on something more intellectual. Having studied Philosophy at Howard University, he turned into an author and speaker and even published a book titled ‘Tao Of The Gigolo,’ which delves into his personal journey as a straight male escort. He also authored a couple of more books, including ‘Self Ownership: The Foundation of Property and Morality.’ Published in 2017, the book includes various thought-provoking essays as Vin emphasizes the importance of self-ownership. He published another book in February 2021, titled ‘Render Unto Caesar: Prophecy, Profit, and Proof Of Work in The Dim Age.’
He has also reportedly worked as an entrepreneur, researcher, software developer, art gallerist, DJ, pirate radio station operator, music producer, and motorcycle courier. In 2014, he served as an executive producer of ‘Expressway to Your Skull.’ That same year, he kickstarted his career as a professional Bitcoin developer by founding his start-up, CoinText. However, the company could not reach the heights that the serial tech entrepreneur wanted it to. Thus, not long after, CoinText was shut down for good. Given his interest in and knowledge of cryptocurrency, he is popularly known as Cyprian.
Vin Armani is a Proud Converted Christian Today
Hailing from Southern California, Vin Armani is reportedly married to the love of his life and is a parent to at least two children, who were born three years apart from one another. Around 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, he and his family moved to Saipan, the capital of the Northern Mariana Islands. As per reports, his wife is originally from Russia and holds dual citizenship, and so do both of their children. Vin used to consider himself an atheist, but during the baptism of his children, he went to an Orthodox church.
However, after about a year or so into his move to Saipan, he converted to an Orthodox Christian and reportedly got baptized in the Eastern Orthodox church. He was also one of the guest speakers at the Young Adult Retreat FALL 2023, held by Saint Michael Romanian Orthodox Church. Leading life as a converted Christian, the former male escort takes time from his busy schedule to spend with his wife and children. During his free time, he runs his YouTube channel called Cyprian, where he posts videos regularly, talking about the utility and spiritual aspects of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Some of the topics he recently covered in his videos are ‘Bitcoin Mystery School: The Final Class,’ ‘Christ Is Not Abstract,’ ‘Julian Assange, Michael Saylor, and Bitcoin’s next Chapter,’ and ‘Web3: Bitcoin Is The Enemy of AI.’
