Although the former prefers to work alone, the Christmas Connection Department pairs the two angels together and tasks them to make destined soulmates, Daisy and Patrick, fall in love before the holiday season ends.
Despite their clashing personalities, Monica and Michael find themselves getting romantically drawn to each other, which further complicates their mission. However, Christmas unexpectedly works its magic to help the angels complete their mission. The holiday film follows the journey of Monica and Michael as they magically appear and disappear in different locations, adorned with Christmas decorations.
Where Was A Christmas Angel Match Filmed?
‘A Christmas Angel Match’ was filmed in its entirety in Ontario, particularly in Ottawa and Mississippi Mills. From what we can tell, principal photography for the Hallmark romantic drama commenced in May 2025. After a few weeks of shooting, the filming was concluded by the end of the same month. Talking about her experience of working with Meghan Ory for the third time, the director Christie Will Wolf took to social media, stating, “We speak in shorthand, consistently have the same thought, and spin ideas like records — nonstop and always in rhythm. Making movies is hard – we’re both moms and being away from our kids isn’t easy. But making Christmas (and doing it fantastically!) well, it’s simply fun. Love ya Megs! Ottawa, Ontario
A significant chunk of ‘A Christmas Angel Match’ was lensed in and around the city of Ottawa, which is the capital city of the nation situated in Ontario’s southern portion. The filming unit made the most of its vast and versatile landscape by shooting important scenes in different streets and neighborhoods of the city. You might spot various landmarks and buildings in the backdrop of exterior and establishing shots, such as Rideau Hall, the Fairmont Château Laurier, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Rideau Canal.
Mississippi Mills, Ontario
The production team of ‘A Christmas Angel Match’ reportedly traveled a few miles outside of Ottawa to the Cedar Hill Christmas Tree Farm in order to tape many pivotal sequences. Located at 951 8th Concession South in the Pakenham area in the town of Mississippi Mills, the farm was voted as the best winter attraction in Ottawa in 2023. The Christmas destination not only provides the setting for movies, but also offers Christmas trees for sale and hosts workshops. Cedar Hill Christmas Tree Farm has many interesting areas, including a kids’ play area, campfires, and a Christmas gift shop, some of which can be spotted in the backdrop of several scenes.
