While Lisa deals with her pregnancy, Darren begins an extramarital affair with a woman named Michelle, who convinces him to leave his wife and be with her. The soon-to-be father hatches an elaborate plan to kill Lisa so that he can commit to Michelle.
Donning a mask, he ambushes his pregnant wife in their house and stabs her dozens of times. However, Lisa and her unborn baby manage to survive the violent attack, after which she works with the police to identify the perpetrator. She is in complete disbelief when she learns that her husband was the attacker, but thanks to her family and faith, she gets the strength to face reality and bring him to justice. The dynamic setting, shifting from the couple’s house, the hospital where Lisa gets admitted to after the attack, and a few other places, contributes to bringing the narrative to life.

Principal photography for the Lifetime thriller got underway in May 2025 and continued for a few weeks before wrapping up in early June of the same year. One of the cast members, Cynthia Preston, took to social media after the conclusion of shooting to share her experience on set. She stated, “That’s a wrap! Finish shooting my latest epic! Everyone was amazing & I had a great time!”
