Hoping to succeed in her plans to hire the boy band for the upcoming annual summer beach bash, Kaitlin faces a few hurdles as the reclusive lead singer, Derrick, demands her help in boosting ticket sales for his local variety show in return for reuniting with the boy band. Complications arise when Kaitlin and Derrick fall in love. ‘Absolutely Devoted to You’ was filmed in British Columbia, seemingly in and around Victoria. From what we can tell, principal photography for the Hallmark production commenced in April 2026 and continued for a few weeks before wrapping up in May of the same year. Jolynn Mears, one of the hairstylists, expressed her gratitude as the premiere of the film approached. Victoria, British Columbia
A significant chunk of ‘Absolutely Devoted to You’ was seemingly lensed across Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. The production team possibly set up camp on several streets and in various parts of the city to tape important indoor and outdoor scenes. It is likely that they also took over a sound stage or two of one of the film studios located in Victoria for shooting interior sequences for the romantic movie. As for the exterior or establishing shots, they were seemingly shot around the downtown area, known for the Victoria City Hall, Centennial Square, Market Square, and the Bay Centre shopping mall. Jesse Metcalfe steps into the role of Derrick, the lead singer of the boy band and Kaitlin’s romantic interest, in ‘Absolutely Devoted to You.’ Widely recognized for his portrayal of John Rowland in ‘Desperate Housewives,’ Jesse is also known for playing the roles of John Tucker in ‘John Tucker Must Die,’ Brady in ‘The Ninth Passenger,’ and CJ Nicholas in ‘Beyond a Reasonable Doubt.’ He also stars in ‘Summer Sparks,’ ‘Dead Rising: Endgame,’ ‘Fairfield Road,’ ‘Law & Order,’ ‘Dallas,’ and ‘Chase.’ The romantic movie also features other talented actors in supporting roles, including Doron Bell as Chip, Drew Henderson as TJ, Barry W.
