Directed by Émilie Noblet, Netflix’s ‘Call My Agent! The Movie’ is a French comedy drama movie that centers on a former talent agent named Andréa, who is looking forward to directing her first feature film, five years after the ASK Agency closed its doors and she began following her dreams of becoming a director. However, she faces a huge dilemma just before the shoot is set to begin: her lead actor suddenly quits the production to work on another project, and she has a dramatic falling-out with her producer.
With no other option in sight, Andréa teams up with Noémie, a successful reality TV producer, and many of her old team members. As the debut director works on the film, she must navigate on-set failures, recasting issues, and a custody battle involving her daughter. Originally titled ‘Dix Pour Cent Le Film,’ the movie adaptation of the hit show of the same name introduces a few new settings but mostly stays true to its earlier visuals, providing a sense of familiarity to the viewers.
Call My Agent! The Movie Filming Locations
‘Call My Agent! The Movie’ was filmed in its entirety in France, particularly in Île-de-France. According to reports, principal photography for the comedy film commenced in October 2025 under the working title ‘La Fugitive’ and wrapped up a couple of months later in December of the same year. One of the cast members, Kmy Claire, expressed her gratitude for being a part of the project. Île-de-France, France
All the pivotal sequences for ‘Call My Agent! The Movie’ were lensed across Île-de-France, which comprises eight administrative departments, including Paris. To fill the visual canvas of the narrative, the filming unit utilized the vast and versatile landscape of the region. For instance, they set up camp on the bustling streets and in historic buildings, where they taped multiple important scenes. Moreover, scenes in which Andréa and her team head into wooded areas to shoot exterior shots for their movie were also lensed in the region. The capital of France, Paris, also served as a prominent production location for the French film. In the establishing shots of Paris, you are likely to spot numerous popular landmarks and buildings, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Palais Garnier, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Place des Vosges.
Fanny Herrero, the creator and principal writer/showrunner of ‘Call My Agent!, talked with Variety, highlighting how the movie begins within the conventions of the series. However, she also revealed that “we take the characters and the story elsewhere.” She added, “At one point, the shooting of Andréa’s film begins, and we head to the south of France, into landscapes that are completely different from their usual Parisian backdrop.” Other notable movies and TV shows shot in Île-de-France include ‘The Devil Wears Prada,’ ‘The Intouchables,’ ‘Red Notice,’ ‘Father Mother Sister Brother,’ ‘Something’s Gotta Give,’ ‘Midnight in Paris,’ ‘Emily in Paris,’ ‘Sex and the City,’ and ‘One Day.’
