‘Dead Girl Summer’ was filmed entirely in Arkansas, specifically in Fayetteville. Filming began in the last week of April 2025 and wrapped up by the end of the second week of May the same year, considering Lifetime’s usual 15-18-day schedule. The cast and crew had a blast on set, and since it is a ladies’ duet, the chemistry is palpable and true. The movie delves into a dark connection between past and present, and Fayetteville serves as the eerie crescent.

Fayetteville, the county seat of Washington County, became the base for the production of ‘Dead Girl Summer.’ The city offers diverse backdrops, enabling the crew to opt for apt settings based on the script’s requirements. Savoy Bailey and Sydney Hamm lead the cast of ‘Dead Girl Summer.’ Savoy is a talented singer, specializing in pop, rock, and alto. She is also a dancer, trained in Jazz and Contemporary. Sydney is a professional print and runway model and a social justice advocate. She also works behind the lens as a writer, producer, and creative director. ‘Dead Girl Summer’ is the sophomore Lifetime project of the ladies and their first project together.
Savoy Bailey
Savoy Bailey stars as a protagonist in ‘Dead Girl Summer.’ You can spot her as Michelle in the Lifetime movie ‘Fatal Fixer Upper.’ Some of her other performances in network TV are Sky in ‘The Arrangement,’ Jill in ‘A Nanny to Die For,’ Erin in ‘My Vampire System Omnibus,’ and Stephanie in ‘Goodbye Mr Sampson.’ Notable feature films to her credit include ‘A Jazzman’s Blues,’ ‘Toxic Harmony,’ ‘Hustlers Take All,’ ‘Midnight Hustle,’ and ‘Christmas on the Square.’
