A sequel series to ‘Dexter’ and ‘Dexter: New Blood,’ Showtime’s ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ is a crime drama series created by Clyde Phillips. The narrative continues after the events of the finale of ‘Dexter: New Blood,’ where Dexter Morgan, also known as the Bay Harbor Butcher, miraculously recovers from a gunshot wound inflicted by his own son, Harrison. Upon waking up from a coma several weeks later, he realizes that his son is missing. Thus, in order to find Harrison and make things better between them, Dexter travels all the way to the Big Apple.
Amidst his search for his son, the serial killer finds himself in the crosshairs of his former colleague, Captain Angel Batista, who questions his dark past. The father and son must reconcile to navigate and escape their darkness together. While Michael C. Hall reprises his role as Dexter Morgan, the spin-off features several fresh and popular names, including Peter Dinklage, Kadia Saraf, Jack Alcott, Ntare Mwine, David Zayas, and more. As Dexter flees from the serene and quaint town of Iron Lake in New York State to New York City, there is a sudden and noticeable shift in the environment and the protagonist, who searches for his son amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.
