With Jessica Harmon at the helm, Hallmark’s ‘Forgotten Holiday’ is a Christmas romantic drama movie that centers on the unbreakable romantic bond between Kathryn Liu and Rob Ashford, who have been dating for about a year. Believing they are ready for the next step in their relationship, Rob gets down on one knee and proposes to her just before the holidays. Taken by surprise, Kathryn leaves him hanging as she fears commitment. Rob is naturally devastated by her reaction. The heartbroken man soon meets with a critical car accident, resulting in him losing all the memories he had made in the past year.
As Rob struggles to remember details of his relationship, Kathryn re-dates him in an attempt to help him recover his lost memories and remind him of his love for Christmas. By the time his memories return, she must make a tough choice — lose him forever or get ready to claim the love she was too afraid of earlier. The tale of loss, romance, and commitment unfolds in the quaint town, which is adorned with Christmas decorations.
