‘A Make or Break Holiday’ was filmed in its entirety in British Columbia, particularly in and around Vancouver. From what we can tell, principal photography for the Christmas-themed movie took place in the summer of 2025, seemingly in the month of July over the course of a few weeks.

The city of Vancouver and the surrounding areas served as the primary production location for ‘A Make or Break Holiday.’ The filming unit utilized various streets and neighborhoods across Vancouver as they transformed the areas into a Christmas wonderland by changing storefronts and businesses. They also possibly set up camp inside several real-life establishments, including residential properties and businesses, to shoot key portions for the film.
According to reports, the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre, located at 181 Roundhouse Mews, was adorned with Christmas decorations as numerous pivotal sequences were recorded in the area. Situated in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Vancouver has also hosted the production of multiple film and TV projects over the years, including ‘Eternity,’ ‘Love Hard,’ ‘Christmas at the Catnip Café,’ ‘A Lot Like Christmas,’ ‘Once Upon a Time,’ ‘Virgin River,’ and ‘When Calls the Heart.’

The impressive performances from Hunter King and Evan Roderick helped bring the wholesome tale of reunion and familial bonds in ‘A Make or Break Holiday’ to life. Evan is a talented and passionate hockey player who suffered a series of injuries that forced him to quit pursuing a career in the sport.
