Heartstopper Forever Filming Locations
Production on ‘Heartstopper Forever’ was conducted entirely in England, especially in Kent, Berkshire, and London. Principal photography for the teen drama movie reportedly got underway in June 2025 under the working title ‘Sunbeam’ and wrapped up after six or seven weeks in late July of the same year. After the conclusion of the final saga of the ‘Heartstopper’ series, the creator Alice Oseman took to social media and stated, “Heartstopper means the world to me, and it’s always been a little scary to put it into other people’s hands, but it’s been met with so much care and passion and dedication and love. I’m so thankful to everyone who has been a part of it… so far!”
Kent, England
A significant chunk of ‘Heartstopper Forever’ was lensed across the ceremonial county of Kent, located in South East England. To be specific, the filming unit took over the seaside town of Herne Bay and shot multiple important scenes involving Nick and Charlie. They set up camp on the Herne Bay Beach, as a homage to the final scene of the debut season of ‘Heartstopper,’ when the couple makes their relationship public on the same beach. Several spots around the shingle beach also served as key production locations, such as Neptune’s Arm, Neptune Car Park, Herne Bay Pier, and Central Parade.
Berkshire, England
The coming-of-age movie was also taped in the ceremonial county of Berkshire, a regular shooting location for ‘Heartstopper.’ For filming the scenes set in Nick’s home, the production team set up camp in the riverside residential area of the market town of Maidenhead, situated on the southwestern bank of the River Thames. Additionally, another real-life property on St. Mark’s Road in the town of Windsor served as Charlie’s residence. According to reports, the cast and crew members of ‘Heartstopper Forever’ also made the most of the facilities of Bray Studios. Located on Windsor Road in Water Oakley near the village of Bray, the film studio is home to seven purpose-built sound stages spread across 95,000 square feet, 10 workshops, production offices, a backlot area of over 180,000 square feet, and a Down Place House.
London, England
For the purpose of filming, the production team of ‘Heartstopper Forever’ also traveled to the capital of England and the United Kingdom — London. In the establishing or exterior shots, you are likely to spot popular landmarks and buildings in the backdrop, such as the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge, The Shard, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus, the Palace of Westminster, and Big Ben. Other notable movies and TV shows shot in London include ‘Enola Holmes,’ ‘Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves,’ ‘Upgraded,’ ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary,’ ‘Shakespeare in Love,’ ‘Sense & Sensibility,’ and ‘Little Dorrit.’
