The couple’s life turns upside down when the former meets with an unfortunate car accident. Not only is she hospitalized with multiple injuries, but Donna is also diagnosed with amnesia. Moreover, she also wakes up with a baby in her hospital bed, leading her and Mason to try to solve the mystery behind it. With the news of a kidnapped baby making headlines on TV, Donna is forced to dig deep inside herself and question if the baby is hers or not. Helmed by Monika Mitchell, the psychological thriller drama unfolds in different spaces, including the hospital and the Fendyr residence, most of which are filled with tension due to the suspenseful circumstances.
A Stranger’s Child Filming Locations
The shooting for ‘A Stranger’s Child’ was carried out in its entirety in British Columbia, especially in Kelowna. As per reports, principal photography for the thriller got underway in November 2023 and went on for a few weeks before wrapping up in December of the same year. While filming, Jessica Lowndes took to social media and expressed how much she was enjoying being on set. She stated, “Even while shooting a night shoot outside with a -10 degree wind chill, we still managed to have an absolute BLAST! (See slide 6 😂🥶) Beyond grateful for this epic experience and for the epic new friends I made along the way!!!”
