In exchange for her safety, the blackmailing woman demands that Peyton give her the details about the whereabouts of a social media influencer named Erin Roberts. Caught between saving her daughter’s life and that of the online celebrity, who is in hiding, the detective must make a difficult decision before the plane lands. With Andres Beltran at the helm, the thriller drama movie manages to heighten the tension of the situation by adding a layer of claustrophobia through the enclosed setting of the plane, where almost the entirety of the drama unfolds.
Where Was Brace for Danger Filmed?
‘Brace for Danger’ was filmed in its entirety in California, specifically in the home of Hollywood, Los Angeles. Under the working title ‘Lethal Altitude,’ the principal photography reportedly took place in the month of November 2024 over the course of a few weeks before Thanksgiving. The director, Andres Beltran, expressed his gratitude for sitting in the director’s chair, stating, “So happy to be shooting my first movie in LA! #lethalaltitude Thank you @richardswitzer @johannafogle_ @maverickfilmprod for inviting me to be part of this great adventure! All the pivotal sequences for ‘Brace for Danger’ were lensed in the city of Los Angeles, situated in Southern California. Since most of the film is set inside an aircraft, the production team utilized the amenities and facilities of a film studio instead of shooting inside an actual plane. They set up camp at Aero Mock-Ups, Inc., a well-equipped film studio that provides the filmmakers with all the necessary tools to create authentic aviation scenes.
Situated at 13126 Saticoy Street in the North Hollywood neighborhood of LA, it consists of multiple aviation sets, including an airport terminal, executive jets, cockpits, rolling cabin sets, and galleys, as well as complimentary studio gear. Over the years, the Aero Mock-Ups have been utilized for the production of many film and TV projects, such as ‘The Killer,’ ‘In Flight,’ ‘RED 2,’ ‘The Gunman,’ ‘Kajillionaire,’ ‘Angie Tribeca,’ and ‘The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window.’

Kristina Clifford steps into the role of Detective Peyton Sherman in the Lifetime production. Widely recognized for her portrayal of Judy in ‘Butt Boy’ and Sheriff Dickerson in ‘Dark Light,’ the talented actor also stars in ‘Dying for Fame’ and ‘A Nurse’s Revenge.’ Her TV credits include ‘Angels Among Us,’ ‘F#Cker of the Month,’ and ‘Tiny Cinema.’
Kayla Raelle as Samantha Morgan
In ‘Brace for Danger,’ Kayla Raelle portrays Samantha Morgan, the mysterious woman who blackmails Detective Peyton Shermon on the flight. Sami Nye essays the role of Erin Roberts, the social media influencer who is in hiding, in the thriller movie. She has showcased her talent in several films, like ‘V/H/S/Halloween’ as Mom, ‘Revenge for My Mother’ as Audrey, ‘One Night Stand Murder’ as Serena, ‘Demise’ as the News Anchor, and ‘The Made Whale’ as the Asylum Girl.
