In Lifetime’s ‘Brace for Danger,’ we get acquainted with an experienced and competent detective named Peyton Sherman, who gets on board a flight to return home to her adorable daughter. Expecting it to be just another plane ride, the detective is shaken to her core when a mysterious woman sitting next to her threatens to harm her daughter. In exchange for her safety, the blackmailing woman demands that Peyton give her the details about the whereabouts of a social media influencer named Erin Roberts. Caught between saving her daughter’s life and that of the online celebrity, who is in hiding, the detective must make a difficult decision before the plane lands. With Andres Beltran at the helm, the thriller drama movie manages to heighten the tension of the situation by adding a layer of claustrophobia through the enclosed setting of the plane, where almost the entirety of the drama unfolds.
