Before Kelli can take any action, Ty suddenly meets with a fiery and fatal car accident. Not long after, she begins suspecting that her disloyal husband pretended to be dead and is weaving a plot to kill her. Tangled in a dangerous web of lies and mystery, the protagonist digs deeper into Ty’s hidden life and his seemingly fake death. The suspenseful story unfolds across multiple locations, including Kelli’s house, the site of the accident, and Sasha’s residence, all of which play vital roles in bringing the narrative to life.
Where Was My Husband’s Other Wife Filmed?
‘My Husband’s Other Wife’ was filmed in its entirety in Georgia, particularly in Metro Atlanta. According to reports, principal photography for the Lifetime production got underway in late May 2025 under the working title ‘Husband’s Revenge’. It went on for a few weeks before wrapping up in June of the same year. Upon the conclusion of the shooting process, Ashton Leigh gifted the director, Lisa France, a thoughtful wrap present, for which the latter was grateful.
Metro Atlanta, Georgia
The filming of ‘My Husband’s Other Wife’ took the cast and crew to several locations across Metro Atlanta in Georgia. The city of Atlanta, located in Fulton County (with a portion also in DeKalb County), hosted the production of a significant portion of the thriller movie. Dubbed Hollywood of the South, the capital city of the Peach State is a prominent filming destination as it boasts top-tier production and post-production facilities, a skilled workforce, lucrative tax incentives, and a wide range of settings from modern cityscapes to rural neighborhoods, making it appealing for titles of varying genres, such as the Lifetime production.
To create the visual aesthetic of Kelli’s emotional transformation as she navigates betrayal and self-discovery, the production team visited Fayetteville in Fayette County, south of downtown Atlanta. A few sequences were taped in the idyllic town whose charm inspired Margaret Mitchell’s novel, ‘Gone With the Wind.’ The city of Senoia in Coweta County also hosted the shooting of ‘My Husband’s Other Wife.’ Alongside the aforementioned locations, a minor part of the filming also took place in Smyrna, located northwest of Atlanta in Cobb County. Its tree-lined neighborhoods and small-town charm reportedly lent an ideal atmosphere for the taping of the Lifetime film.

The impressive onscreen performances from Christie Leverette, Christopher Sky, and Kennie Nicole Jenkins help bring the enthralling narrative of ‘My Husband’s Other Wife’ to life. Apart from being a talented actor, Christie is also known for being the creator/writer of ‘The BA’s’ and ‘Saved in the City.’ Although the three have not worked together, they managed to convey an undeniable chemistry between their characters, elevating the movie to a new level.
Christie Leverette as Kelli Dawson
Christie Leverette essays the role of Kelli Dawson in ‘My Husband’s Other Wife.’ Hailing from Marietta, Georgia, the talented actor has demonstrated her versatility and range by taking on a variety of roles, including Charlotte Russo in ‘Both Eyes Open,’ Kamlyn in ‘Buried Alive and Survived,’ Katie in ‘Holiday for Hire,’ and Sarah Locklear in ‘Shattered Vows.’ You might also recognize her from ‘P-Valley,’ where she portrays Ginger. She also stars in ‘Killer Beat,’ ‘Deadly Secrets of a Cam Girl,’ ‘Whispers in the Walls,’ and ‘The Secret Life of Amy Bensen.’
Christopher Sky as Ty Dawson
Christopher Sky steps into the character of Ty Dawson, Kelli’s unfaithful husband, in the Lifetime production. Many of you might find his face familiar because he features in ‘Smile 2’ as Skye’s SUV Driver, ‘Stay Out’ as Rufus Jones, ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ as an Officer, ‘The Night Agent’ as an FBI Agent, and ‘The Eric Andre Show.’ His other film and TV credits include ‘Cabin Pressure,’ ‘My Family’s Killer Affairs,’ ‘Lycan Queen Fights Back,’ and ‘The Hot CEO Rejected 500 Ladies for Me.’
Kennie Nicole Jenkins as Sasha Dawson
In the thriller film, Kennie Nicole Jenkins portrays Sasha Dawson, Ty’s secret wife. As of writing, she has primarily showcased her acting chops in short films, which has likely helped her secure a role in the Lifetime production. You might recognize her as Toya from ‘The Despaired,’ Rayne from ‘Christian Isn’t Crazy,’ Keyshia Palmer from ‘Syncopated,’ Olivia Stryker from ‘Trust Her if You Dare,’ and Zo from ‘Outlandish.’
While Ashton Leigh plays the role of Maddy Sullivan, Gregory M. Mitchell portrays Winston Knox.
