Where is Love Is Blind France Filmed? All Shooting Locations

Based on the original eponymous American show created by Chris Coelen, Netflix’s ‘Love Is Blind: France’ is a French dating reality show that follows a similar pattern but with French singles, who are looking to find the one. In the dating experiment, the eligible men and women go on multiple dates, but without seeing each other, as they are divided by a wall. After finding a connection, they get engaged and get to meet their other half face-to-face.

The engagements are followed by their honeymoon in a luxury villa, before finally moving into shared apartments. As they spend several weeks together, they must decide if they wish to marry their respective partners or walk away. Originally titled ‘Pour le meilleur et à l’aveugle,’ the show is hosted by French heavyweight legend, Teddy Riner, and his wife, Luthna Plocus. The change of scenarios in the journey of the newly engaged couples symbolizes the different phases of their relationship.

Love Is Blind: France Filming Locations

‘Love Is Blind: France’ is filmed across different countries, including Sweden, Morocco, and France, especially in Stockholm, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, and Paris. As per reports, principal photography for the inaugural iteration of the French spin-off got underway around November 2024 and concluded by the end of the year or early 2025.

Strängnäs, Sweden

In order to tape the pod scenes for ‘Love Is Blind: France,’ the production team set up camp in a purpose-built sound stage located in Strängnäs, a small town a few miles outside Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. The enclosed set with multiple pods allows the eligible singles to get to know their respective dates by talking through the wall separating their pods. These pods have also been utilized for shooting other versions of ‘Love Is Blind,’ including ‘Love Is Blind: Sweden,’ ‘Love Is Blind: UK,’ and more.

Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Morocco

After leaving the pods, the newly engaged couples flew to the region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, situated in northern Morocco, for the honeymoon phase. For their tropical and exotic vacation, they stayed at the luxurious 5-star hotel — Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay. Situated at Route Nationale 13 Oued Negro in the town of Fnideq, the hotel lies on the Moroccan Riviera and is in close proximity to the area’s iconic and cultural landmarks. Apart from providing its guests with lavish pool villas and other kinds of accommodation, Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay also offers various amenities, such as a private beach, a fitness center, a kids club, an award-winning spa, a range of versatile indoor and outdoor meeting facilities, and more.

The filming unit was spotted lensing numerous pivotal scenes in different areas of the expansive property, highlighting the hotel’s vastness. From what we can tell, a few portions were also recorded in and around the city of Tangier. Moreover, host Teddy Riner also has a personal connection to Morocco, which added another layer to the production. Describing it as ideal for relaxation, he claimed that he frequently visits the country, specifically Marrakech.

Paris, France

Once the honeymoon phase was over, the couples moved to Paris, the City of Light, to see how they managed to handle everyday life together. Located in northern central France, the capital served as an ideal production location, given its hustle and bustle. In the establishing and exterior shots, you can spot multiple popular landmarks and places of interest, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Palais Garnier, and the Louvre. Besides ‘Love Is Blind: France,’ Paris has hosted the production for various reality shows, including ‘My Super Sweet 16,’ ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ ‘Jackass,’ and ‘The Real World.’
