The German spin-off of ‘Love Is Blind,’ Netflix’s ‘Love Is Blind: Germany,’ is a reality dating series created by Chris Coelen. It brings together 30 attractive singles who are looking for the one and someone who accepts them as they are. Participating in the dating and social experiment, they go on multiple dates with one another, separated by a wall, which prevents them from seeing what their date looks like. Based on the emotional bond they form over the dates, each must choose to marry someone without meeting them.
Once they decide on their respective partners, the couple meets each other, gets engaged, and moves in together for a few weeks to test their compatibility in the real world. By the end of four weeks, they must decide if they wish to marry their partner or walk away. Hosted by Stephanie Brungs and Chris Wackert-Brungs, the second season of the dating series also follows the same format, but with a new set of singles. The different phases of the dating experiment, including the pods, honeymoon, and moving in, are marked by different locations as a series of dramatic events unfold between the couples.
Love Is Blind: Germany Season 2 Filming Locations
Just like the debut season, the shooting for ‘Love Is Blind: Germany’ season 2 was reportedly conducted in Sweden and Greece, specifically in Stockholm and Crete. As per reports, principal photography for the sophomore round took place in the summer of 2025, seemingly in the month of June, over the course of a few weeks. The scenic vistas surrounded by the Aegean and Ionian seas provide a visually appealing backdrop for all kinds of projects, especially romantic reality shows like ‘Love Is Blind.’
Stockholm, Sweden

Following the pattern of the inaugural iteration and other spin-offs of the show, the pod scenes for ‘Love Is Blind: Germany’ season 2 were reportedly shot on a sound stage of one of the film studios in the city of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Therefore, the interpersonal conversations between the individuals take place in the premises of a production complex. It is likely that a few establishing shots of the city feature several popular landmarks and places of interest, such as the Royal Dramatic Theatre, the Drottningholm Palace, Stortorget, and the Nationalmuseum.
Crete, Greece
In order to shoot the honeymoon phase of the second iteration, the production team set up camp on the island of Crete, located in the Mediterranean Sea. To be specific, the beaches of Ligaria and Agia Pelagia in the municipality of Malevizi served as some of the prominent production locations. The couples were spotted taping several date scenes on and around the sunny beaches. According to reports, the Heraklion Land Service granted the filming unit permission to use parts of the beach area for shooting purposes. The cast and crew members seemingly took over one of the resorts in the municipality of Malevizi, which served as the honeymoon spot for the couples as they engaged in a variety of activities and conversations ranging from emotionally charged to flirtatious to romantic.
