A spin-off of ‘Love Island,’ ‘Love Island: All Stars’ is a dating reality show that features contestants from previous seasons of the original show. The shooting for ‘Love Island: All Stars’ season 3 was conducted in South Africa, especially in Franschhoek. According to reports, principal photography for the third round of the spin-off dating show took place in January 2026, but was halted due to unexpected wildfires near the filming site. The production team has utilized the locales of South Africa in the 2023 winter edition of ‘Love Island.’

The third round of ‘Love Island: All Stars’ was lensed in and around a villa called Ludus Magnus on Two Rivers Farm in the picturesque town of Franschhoek, near Cape Town. The recently refurbished property was used to accommodate participating couples and new bombshells, who make the most of various spaces of the lavish and gorgeous 25-acre villa throughout the season. Besides the indoor scenes, the show also involves plenty of exterior scenes, which feature the backdrop of scenic vistas, including the hills surrounding the town of Franschhoek. On January 10, 2026, the shooting was halted indefinitely due to the ongoing wildfires in the area, as mentioned above.
A statement regarding the same was released by the team of ‘Love Island,’ It stated, “Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed. Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed.” Due to the delay, the premiere date of season 3 was also affected and postponed. According to reports, a road right next to the villa was also closed due to the fires.
