Pushed off a Plane and Survived: Filming Locations and Cast Details

Inspired by true stories, Lifetime’s ‘Pushed off a Plane and Survived’ revolves around a married couple — Jaynie and Cole — who seem to be living a picture-perfect life. During a skydiving adventure, Jaynie learns of her husband’s deceitful nature after plummeting 4,000 feet from the sky. Although she miraculously managed to survive the ordeal, she suffers from critical injuries due to the fall. While recovering, she soon learns that what seemed to be an unfortunate accident was a planned attack on her by Cole, who intentionally made her parachute malfunction. Now, she is determined to do everything in her power to reveal Cole’s truth about being a con artist and bring him to justice once and for all. Helmed by Manu Boyer, the thriller drama movie is set amid the hustle and bustle of the city, which helps Cole hide his true identity from Jaynie.

None of this gets done without the team behind the scenes.”

Metro Atlanta, Georgia

The production team of ‘Pushed off a Plane and Survived’ taped the movie in Metro Atlanta in the southeastern state of Georgia. Several establishing shots were taken to capture the Southern charm, the dynamic blend of historic and contemporary architecture, lush greenery, and the stunning skyline, and set the tone of the narrative. Aside from the landmarks, a few scenes were likely lensed in and around the diverse locales of the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, following Jaynie as she moves around the city as the narrative progresses.

The cast and crew also visited the premises of Atlanta Film Studios at 110 Thompson Road in Hiram for the purpose of filming. The team utilized the space and services of the production complex to paint the visual canvas of a portion of the thriller movie.
