‘Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark’ was filmed extensively in Arizona, specifically in Scottsdale. Principal photography reportedly began in July 2024 and continued for 6 weeks before wrapping up in August the same year. The crew opted for an unusual setting, not going for the usual suspects, like Florida and California, for a reality dating show. As expected, it offered the show a unique backdrop that rightfully highlights its freshness while not compromising on the glamor.
Scottsdale, Arizona
The hotel that was used as the base for filming ‘Sneaky Links’ is Hotel Adeline, a boutique hotel in Scottsdale, a city in Arizona’s Maricopa County. A part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, the hotel is located at 5101 North Scottsdale Road and offers a scenic view of Camelback Mountain, and the Sonoran Desert lies only a short drive away. The pet-friendly hotel boasts 213 guestrooms divided into various sections based on the guests’ choice of experience, like the Classic King, the Poolside King, the King Plus, and Adeline’s suite. All the rooms are carefully curated with customized furniture and retro artwork, refining the stay. There is also a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, a signature restaurant, and a whiskey bar.
One of Hotel Adeline’s iconic aspects is the 3,000-square-foot, zero-edge pool, which can be spotted in the show. It has a dedicated freestyle bar, exclusive shaded cabanas, and daybed rentals, providing the guests with an enjoyable time underscored by some much-needed relaxation. The hotel hosts the annual pool party, Liquid Sunshine, with music by its resident DJ. Hotel Day passes are also available, which are to be booked in advance, for people who are not staying at the hotel but want to party.
As for the local sightseeing, the hotel arranges horseback riding, hot air ballooning, and off-road tours. Its location near the Old Town enables guests to enjoy the nightlife of Scottsdale, while the Scottsdale Wine Trail provides an enriching wine-tasting experience. Hotel Adeline is also a popular wedding destination as it offers reception packages, ample guest accommodations, dedicated ceremony sites, custom menus, and a complimentary champagne toast.
