Originally titled ‘Banlieusards 3,’ Netflix’s ‘Street Flow 3’ is the third and final installment in the ‘Street Flow’ or ‘Banlieusards’ film series. The French drama movie centers on the three Traoré brothers as they are faced with new complications in their lives. On one hand, Noumouké begins to find success as a musician, but his ties to the streets make it challenging for him to stay focused and on course. On the other hand, Demba leads a content life with Djenaba until the former’s past decisions try to destroy his present. The third brother, Soulaymaan, is a reputed lawyer who gives love another chance.
Meanwhile, he must also prove his loyalty and commitment to his neighborhood’s residents amidst the municipal elections. The three brothers must make some tough decisions in their respective personal lives that could not only change their destiny but also the fate of the entire family. Helmed by Kery James and Leïla Sy, the film features compelling performances from a talented ensemble cast comprising Kery James, Jammeh Diangana, Bakary Diombera, Chérine Ghemri, Foued Nabba, and Chloé Jouannet. The story of three brothers unfolds against the backdrop of France, especially their homes and workplaces, where they are confronted with tough choices.
Street Flow 3 Filming Locations
The shooting for ‘Street Flow 3’ was conducted in its entirety in France, particularly in Île-de-France. According to reports, principal photography for the final part of the trilogy got underway in June 2025 and went on for about a couple of months before wrapping up in August of the same year. Virgilia Giambruno took to social media and expressed her gratitude for being a part of the production. She stated, “…Honored to have been part of this journey alongside some exceptional talent and proud to help bring this powerful story to the screen. Thank you all for this wonderful experience that shows, once again, the power of teamwork and passion.”
Île-de-France, France
In line with the previous installments of the trilogy, the production team chose several locales in France to paint the visual canvas for the final journey of the Traoré brothers as they strive to build a better future under dire circumstances. A portion of the filming took place in Île-de-France, in the north-central part of the country. The team settled on Champigny-sur-Marne, in the Val-de-Marne department, to double up as a shooting site for some sequences. In particular, the cast and crew taped a few scenes on Rue du Bois-l’Abbé, a street located in the eponymous residential neighborhood in Champigny-sur-Marne.
For the purpose of shooting, the team also ventured into the heart of Île-de-France in Paris. Over the decades, the capital city has established itself as a prominent filming destination across the globe. Aside from ‘Street Flow 3,’ it has hosted the production of several movies and television shows of varying range and scale. Some of the titles that feature the visually stunning and culturally iconic locales of the City of Love in the backdrop are ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan,’ ‘Léon: The Professional,’ ‘Twin Peaks,’ ‘The Killer,’ ‘John Wick: Chapter 4,’ ‘Once Upon a Time in America,’ ‘Taken,’ ‘Lupin,’ ‘Perfume: The Story of a Murderer,’ ‘Furies,’ ‘Emilia Pérez,’ and others.
Annecy, France
For the purpose of shooting, the filming unit of ‘Street Flow 3’ also traveled to Annecy, a city in France’s Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. In August 2025, the cast and crew were reportedly spotted taping important scenes along Lake Annecy and in the Vieille Ville neighborhood of the city. Other notable films shot in Annecy are ‘Claire’s Knee,’ ‘The Passionate Friends,’ ‘Reckless Summer,’ ‘Abbé Pierre: A Century of Devotion,’ and ‘La Syndicaliste.’
