Starring Tracy Morgan as Reggie Dinkins, NBC’s ‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ is a sports comedy series that follows the titular protagonist, an NFL player who is banned for life from the league after the public learns he bet on his own New York Jets games. In a desperate attempt to improve his reputation, the disgraced football star hires an award-winning director named Arthur Tobin, portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe.

‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ is primarily filmed in the State of New York, specifically in the New York metropolitan area. From what we can tell, the pilot was shot in the month of April 2025. After the show was greenlit by NBC, principal photography for the rest of the inaugural iteration got underway in September 2025 and continued for nearly three months before wrapping up in late November of the same year.
New York Metropolitan Area, New York
Most of the pivotal sequences for ‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ were taped across the New York metropolitan area, which consists of the cities and suburbs of New York City and several areas of New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Primarily, the filming unit set up camp in different streets and neighborhoods of the Big Apple, where they shot numerous important scenes. In September 2025, the cast and crew were spotted filming key scenes in and around Zuppa at 59 Main Street in the city of Yonkers.
The production team also took over Carmine’s Italian Deli & Cafe at 7 Old Road in the village of Elmsford in November 2025. A week before filming on location, some of the crew members reportedly visited the restaurant to take measurements for the set. They temporarily changed the name to a fictional Italian food joint, Salami Joe’s, for a few scenes. The iconic MetLife Stadium at 1 MetLife Stadium Drive in East Rutherford, New Jersey, also makes several appearances throughout the comedy series.
The establishing shots of New York City and other surrounding areas are also likely to feature several skyscrapers like One World Trade Center, Central Park Tower, One Vanderbilt, 432 Park Avenue, and 30 Hudson Yards, and places of interest, such as the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Central Park, and the bustling Times Square. Apart from ‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,’ the New York metropolitan area has served as a production location for numerous movies and TV shows, including ‘Is This Thing On?,’ ‘The Wolf of Wall Street,’ ‘Materialists,’ ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,’ ‘Marty Supreme,’ ‘Jerry Maguire,’ ‘Red Oaks,’ ‘The Chair Company,’ and ‘Mike.’
