Netflix’s ‘The Heart Knows’ is an Argentinian drama film that revolves around an unlikely love story that transcends death. Written and directed by Marcos Carnevale, the narrative follows a cold-hearted businessman named Juan Manuel, who suffers from an unexpected illness. Following the discovery, not only is he hospitalized, but he also undergoes a heart transplant surgery. With the heart of a humble and loving man named Pedro beating inside his chest, Juan sees life from a different perspective and intends to make the most of his second chance.
While digging deep into the background and origin of his donor’s life, Juan meets Pedro’s widowed wife, Valeria, and falls for her. However, he conceals the fact that he has her late husband’s transplanted heart. At the same time, the businessman gets involved with Pedro’s neighborhood and fights for the cause of the people in his neighborhood. Originally titled ‘Corazón Delator,’ the heartwarming drama movie features a talented group of actors, including Benjamín Vicuña, Julieta Díaz, Peto Menahem, Yayo Guridi, Gloria Carrá, and Bicho Gómez, all of whom play their part in bringing the story to life. Another aspect that helps enhance the visual side of the tale is the apt backdrops of Pedro’s neighborhood, highlighting the change in Juan’s life.
