With Richard Switzer at the helm, Lifetime’s ‘The Man in the Window’ is a murder-mystery thriller movie that centers on a widow named Sarah, who is healing from her troubled past. When a charming man named Jack moves in across the street from her, she finds herself smitten with him. As Sarah and Jack start dating, the former’s life begins to take a turn for the better. Not long after, when a neighbor is found murdered, Sarah’s life turns upside down as the evidence points to Jack being the perpetrator.
Her suspicions are not taken seriously by anyone in the neighborhood, so she is left with no choice but to investigate the case herself. Thus, the widow puts her own life at risk in order to prove that Jack is responsible for the gruesome murder. The suspenseful tale unfolds in the neighborhood, especially in the residences of Sarah and Jack, which serve as additional characters with dark secrets of their own beneath their peaceful, quaint exteriors.
