The shooting for ‘The Night She Disappeared’ took place in Ontario, especially in and around Ottawa. According to reports, principal photography for the thriller got underway in September 2025 and continued for a few weeks before wrapping up by the end of the same month. Chris Violette took to social media at the end of the filming to express his gratitude. He wrote, “Absolute gratitude!! 🙏🏼 To the entire film family and friends that I have out in Ottawa, I express my deepest appreciation and applaud the incredible hard work you all put in each and every day.” He also stated that it was “an incredible experience to go back-and-forth with the multitalented @stefanbrogren to help create layers and dimensions.”

Almost all the pivotal sequences for ‘The Night She Disappeared’ were reportedly lensed in the city of Ottawa. Situated in Ontario’s southern portion, it is the capital city of the nation. The cast and crew members reportedly utilized different streets and neighborhoods, such as the downtown area, to tape important scenes. It is likely that a few landmarks and places of interest in Ottawa make appearances in the backdrop of various exterior scenes, including the Centre Block on Parliament Hill, the Rideau Hall, the Fairmont Château Laurier, the National Gallery of Canada, and more.

The filming unit also seemingly set up camp at several real-life establishments and residences across the city to shoot indoor portions.
