Initially, Edie shrugs off the patient’s claims as signs of dementia. However, when mysterious break-ins begin to trouble the nurse, she considers the possibility of Linette’s theory being true. As Edie and Linette’s lives get threatened, the former must get to the bottom of the strange occurrences in the woman’s home before time runs out. The drama mainly unfolds in and around Linette’s lavish household, which turns into a house of horror as a killer targets her wealth and anything that comes between.

‘Who Could Kill a Sweet Old Lady’ was reportedly filmed in Oklahoma, specifically in Oklahoma City. According to reports, principal photography for the thriller commencced in the last week of August 2025 and went on for a couple of weeks before wrapping up within the first week of September of the same year. Talking about his experience on set and extending his gratitude, David Greyson took to social media and wrote, “With an awesome crew who killed it. Too many to tag all of them!! It was a quick shoot but a blast nonetheless. I hope you all will tune in and watch it! Miss this group of people! Big thank you to my team @tabbagency! And @rgmaslar for the opportunity!!! I’m so grateful for you all.”

To paint the visual aesthetic of ‘Who Could Kill a Sweet Old Lady,’ the production team settled on Oklahoma City in the eponymous state. Several locales in the city were used to create the narrative’s suspenseful tone, as Edie pulls out all the stops to ensure her senior client’s well-being. For several reasons, filming in the capital city proved ideal for the team. Also known as The Big Friendly, it offers production-friendly tax incentives, less congestion for a smoother process, a diverse landscape and a talented pool of local crews and actors.
Furthermore, shooting is relatively cheaper in OKC compared to hubs like Los Angeles and New York. Over the years, the city’s film industry has experienced a steady rise in film and television productions, with projects such as ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ and ‘Tulsa King,’ among many others, choosing Boomtown as a shooting destination. Since the storyline of the Lifetime production doesn’t particularly require a recognizable setting, the neighborhoods, urban streets, and quaint areas of Oklahoma City served as a fitting backdrop.

Alexandra Harris and Laurie Cummings bring the suspenseful tale of ‘Who Could Kill a Sweet Old Lady’ to life through their impressive performances. With a knack for acting from an early age, Alexandra starred in her first full-length theater production at 10. She also pursued Fine Arts in college, earning an associate’s degree in Film Study and Cinematography. As for Laurie, the veteran actor is also a stuntwoman who doubled Meryl Streep in the action scenes of ‘August: Osage County.’ She has also served as an associate/executive producer for ‘Country Gold,’ ‘Chicken House,’ ‘The Wanting Mare,’ and ‘I Stand: The Guardians of the Water.’

In the Lifetime production, Laurie Cummings portrays Linette, the wealthy old woman who believes she is being attacked for her fortune. Hailing from Dothan, Alabama, the talented actor has showcased her versatility by taking on roles in different kinds of projects, including ‘Birdie’ as Eileen Griffin, ‘Reverence’ as Cal Fox, ‘Salt of the Earth’ as Ruth, ‘Out of Exile’ as Bank Manager, and ‘What Josiah Saw’ as a social worker.
Phillip Andre Botello essays the role of Mateo,while David Greyson plays Greg in the thriller.
