Following in the footsteps of other Lifetime movies, ‘Wife Stalker’ was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, a filming haven for the network’s movies. Production began in January 2025 and wrapped up within a few weeks, or at most, a month. Atlanta’s experienced crews and readily available resources further facilitated the quick completion of the film, ensuring it was ready for post-production soon after principal photography ended.

Piedmont Park, situated at 400 Park Drive Northeast, served as a key backdrop, adding to the film’s tense atmosphere with its open spaces and scenic trails. Some scenes took place in coffee shops and public parks, blending everyday locations with the unfolding psychological thriller. From what we can tell, the cast and crew had a lot of fun on the set. In fact, Magdalena Bernard, the mother of cast members AJ and Alayna Bernard, shared what a blessing it was to witness her kids share the screen in yet another project. “This was such a magical time on set, and the bonds they created with not only the cast but the crew will be forever memorable,” she wrote, describing their filming experience.
Atlanta, Georgia, has been a key filming location for several Lifetime and other film projects. Trai Byers as Leo
Trai Byers plays the character of Joanna’s husband, Leo. He is best known for his role as Andre Lyon in ‘Empire.’ He has also appeared as Boston in ‘The 24th,’ Chuck in ‘Bent,’ and James Forman in ‘Selma.’ His other television credits include ‘Harlemm,’ ‘90210’ and ‘All My Children.’ Additionally, his notable projects are ‘Jayhawkers’ and ‘Americons.’ The remaining cast of the movie includes Deja Dee as Trisha Sherwood, Eric Tiede as Brent, and Tiana Melvina as Olivia.
