A Jonathan Tropper creation, Apple TV’s ‘Your Friends & Neighbors,’ is a crime drama series that revolves around Andrew Cooper, a divorced former hedge-fund manager who breaks bad and turns to robbing his neighbors in an affluent neighborhood. Starring Jon Hamm, James Marsden, Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Mark Tallman, Hoon Lee, Lena Hall, and Aimee Carrero, the tale of deceit and robbery unfolds in the fictional town of Westmont Village, primarily in the affluent neighborhood where Andrew and Owen reside.

Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 Filming Locations

‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ season 2 was reportedly filmed in New York State, primarily across the New York City metropolitan area. According to reports, principal photography for the sophomore iteration began in April 2025 and concluded after about 5 months in September of the same year. Cinematographer Zachary Galler and team painted a compelling visual canvas of the series, seamlessly blending suburban luxury with subtly increasing tension to shed light on what lies beneath the surface as Andrew Cooper’s life slowly unravels into chaos. After the early wrap-up of the second season, he took to Instagram to share his experience, stating, “Thank you to a bunch of wonderful people for a wonderful season 2 of your friends and neighbors. Can’t wait for everyone to see what we did.”

New York City Metropolitan Area, New York

Following the pattern of the first season, the production team of ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ season 2 also lensed most of the pivotal sequences in the New York City metropolitan area. Since the show is set in Westmont Village, they took over various streets and neighborhoods across the area and transformed them accordingly to bring the fictional town to life. The cast and crew members reportedly set up camp in the city of Rye, where several important scenes were shot along Purchase Street. For instance, the Aurora Restaurant at 60 Purchase Street, Water Moon at 66 Purchase Street, and Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro at 45 Purchase Street served as key filming sites for the crime series.

The co-owner of Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro, Lisa McKiernan, told Lohud: “It was exciting watching them reinvent the restaurant…Everyone who worked there couldn’t have been nicer. Plus everyone who walked by kept asking what was going on as they knew Jon Hamm was in town.” In addition, a few portions were also reportedly recorded around the parking lot behind the Sunshine Coffee Roasters at 12 Purdy Avenue. The city of White Plains, an inner suburb of New York City, also served as a production location for the second season of ‘Your Friends & Neighbors.’

In particular, the filming unit turned the Brazen Fox restaurant at 175 Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains into a film set to shoot pivotal scenes. The restaurant’s owner, Declan Rainsford, shared how incredible it was to have his restaurant selected as a film location. He told Lohud, “It’s something special to see a space you’ve built become part of a larger story and we’re proud to showcase White Plains on that kind of stage.” The production team also set up camp a few miles from White Plains, specifically at the Westchester County Airport at 240 Airport Road in Westchester County. It is likely the team utilized the locales of other spots across the Hudson Valley region, too.
