Born on February 1, 2000, William J. White grew up in Fort Frances, Ontario, until the age of seven. He then relocated to the town of Halton Hills with his family. Ever since his childhood, he has had a deep passion for hockey, so much so that he even played, mostly at the right wing, for the AAA Halton Hurricanes, the Toronto Titans, and the Brampton Bombers for more than a decade. In 2018, he graduated from Christ the King Secondary School in Georgetown, Ontario, with flying colors, after which he began working as a landscaper. It was a couple of years later when he made a few TikToks with his friend and was signed by a modeling agent.
Over the Memorial Day weekend of 2021, William shot up to fame and became an overnight TikTok sensation through his lip-syncing videos. By the summer of 2021, he had over 1 million followers on the social media application. Although he went through a few controversies, he managed to land modeling gigs with Hudson’s Bay, Zara, Olliver Grey, Roots, Ideal Fashion Magazine, and Hugo Boss. Besides that, William also appeared in commercials for Maison Simons and Aldo Shoes. In 2021, he was voted People Magazine’s Sexiest TikTok Star. Given his fame and influence, he also runs a business called The William White Store, where he sells all kinds of merchandise, from hoodies and sweatshirts to tumblers and coffee mugs. In addition, he also deals with journals, calendars, pouches, umbrellas, coasters, hats, beanies, throw blankets, and more.

Apart from focusing on his modeling and entrepreneurial career, William White also prioritizes his family, including his mother, Chrissy, and uncle Bill. With the help of a special bond with his fans and admirers, he has managed to raise more than $165,000 for various charities, such as Stand Up To Cancer, amfAR International, and the Canadian Cancer Society. As of late, he has also been working on becoming a more inspiring and influential figure, making better use of his fame and popularity. In his free time, William loves to spend quality time with his loved ones and create beautiful memories with them.
Apart from his parents, William also shares a close-knit bond with his sister, Julia, and grandmother. In March 2025, he wished his grandmother with a heartfelt note on her birthday, sharing a few insights on their sweet bond. He wrote, “I remember she would always drive me to hockey practice and we would have the best conversation and she would give the best advice. Tbh i wish i listened to you more but its never to late. I love you so much grandma, you’re the best person I have ever met. I love you and enjoy your Chinese food!” His family also consists of a dog named Daisy and a cat named Luna. William frequently visits Greece and explores the beautiful country for several weeks with his family. Being an outdoorsy individual, he also loves playing golf in his free time.
