Zuri Soto and Benjamin Brachet, AKA Ben, were one of the new pairs who were introduced to the audience in season 8 of TLC’s ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.’ Originally from Fairfield, Connecticut, she was studying abroad in the United Kingdom (UK) when she first crossed paths with Ben, who resides in Nancy, France. From their first meeting, they struck up a memorable conversation that gradually led to the beginning of their beautiful relationship. Despite facing some time apart, they eventually found their way back to each other. Yet, it forced them once again to confront their own expectations and consider how their friends might perceive their connection.
Ben Brachet’s Friends Had Doubts About His Relationship With Zuri Soto
Zuri Soto and Benjamin “Ben” Brachet first met each other in the UK. Soon after, their ordinary encounter developed into a meaningful bond. She eventually took a major step and moved to France, hoping to explore the possibility of a future together. However, adjusting to a new country proved to be challenging for Zuri. Zuri Has Built an Impressive Career as a Marketing Specialist
Zuri Soto began her journey by earning a degree in Communication and Media Studies with a minor in Music from Roger Williams University in May 2021. Following that, she continued her studies at the University of Westminster before graduating with a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism (Broadcasting) in 2022. However, Zuri began her professional trajectory earlier, as a Post-Production Intern for NBC Sports from May to June 2017. She went on to gain additional industry experience in several roles before joining Factory Underground as Director of Outreach and Media in December 2024. By March 2025, Zuri began working as a freelance Social Media Manager, focusing on brand growth and engagement.
In September 2025, Zuri stepped into the role of a Marketing Specialist at Moore Strategies LLC and continues to excel in that position. She eventually left her position at Factory Underground in January 2026. In her personal life, her wanderlust spirit has led her to explore different mesmerizing destinations around the world. Some of Zuri’s most memorable trips include Portugal, Croatia, Singapore, and England. Most recently, in May 2026, she and her friends spent quality time together surrounded by the snowcapped mountains in Switzerland. As a sports enthusiast, Zuri loves visiting stadiums to watch soccer and football games. Additionally, she enjoys activities like skiing and jet skiing.
Ben Enjoys Exploring New Destinations With His Close Circle of Friends
While Benjamin “Ben” Brachet has chosen to keep much of his career information out of the spotlight, he appears considerably more open about sharing glimpses of his personal world. His Instagram page occasionally serves as a window into his everyday life, including time spent with his friends and the adventures that have become part of his life. Ben loves traveling to beautiful destinations around the world with his friends. In January 2022, he walked through the beautiful streets of London, England, before he jetted off to Budva, Montenegro, in August of that same year.
By January 2023, Ben made his way to the Czech Republic, admiring the breathtaking landscapes. As two months passed, he enjoyed his time on the beaches of Cancun, Mexico. By May 2025, he had taken a memorable trip to Hungary with his friends, adding another international chapter to his life. When he is not busy traveling, he loves spending his time in nature and immersing himself in its serenity. Along the way, Ben also enjoys different types of foods, making the discovery of new flavors a significant part of his journey.
Zuri and Ben Have Grown Closer While Traveling Around the World
When Zuri returned to France to reunite with Ben, she ran into his arms, relieved to see him again. However, she then asked him whether she truly fit into French culture, revealing her desire to embrace his way of life. Despite the occasional skepticism from his friends, the pair has continued to focus on their connection and traveling together around the world. One of their early adventures took place in May 2023, when they went out for the night at a London club. By the following December, Ben traveled to New York City, where he and Zuri walked through the bustling streets hand in hand. In November 2024, she joined him in Paris, France, where they spent time sipping wine and making memories.
Zuri and Ben continued their journey in January 2026, traveling to Montréal, Québec. When he shared pictures from that trip, she playfully referred to the place as “Freezin World.” Four months later, the couple soaked in the sun at the beautiful beaches of Mykonos, Greece. During a playful exchange about Zuri’s pictures from the location, Ben recalled, “I remember you. You was danciiiiiing,” which left her feeling shy. In September, the pair enjoyed their time with the spider monkeys in the Dominican Republic. In one instance, Zuri was left impressed with his pictures, prompting her to write, “Wow, how sexy!” Their consistent connection suggests that they have continued to navigate their relationship. We do hope their growing connection will soon lead them to take the next step toward their shared future.
