Debby and Mido From 90 Day Fiancé: Everything We Know

Season 12 of TLC’s ’90 Day Fiancé’ takes the viewers across continents, following couples risking everything for love despite geographical boundaries, language barriers, cultural differences, and lingering doubts. Amongst the newest pairs to step into the unpredictable journey are Debby Rolando and Mohamed “Mido” Fayed. At 55, the former is a devoted mother from New Orleans, Louisiana, who never expected her life to intertwine with that of the 41-year-old Egyptian movie star. Their passionate connection evolved into dreams of a future together, but uncertainty lay underneath that bond. As questions surfaced about Mido’s true intentions, trust issues and lingering doubts complicated their path to the altar.

Debby and Mido’s Relationship Faced Trust Issues and External Skepticism

Sometime around 2019, Debby Rolando and Mohamed “Mido” Fayed first met each other when the former was on a trip to Egypt. Their sudden encounter transformed into a deep connection. As the romance intensified, their relationship reached a major milestone when they eventually got engaged, holding onto hopes of building a future together. After a long wait, Mido was finally granted the K-1 visa, which helped him reunite with his beloved. However, as soon as he reunited with Debby, doubts followed closely behind. He pushed her to consider better opportunities, asking if she was willing to move to Hollywood, California, or New York.

Those conversations fueled Debby’s fears, and she wondered if Mido was truly prepared for their marriage or was simply drawn to the possibilities of fame. She began questioning herself about how long she should keep fighting to decide that their connection wasn’t meant to be. Additionally, Debby’s daughter and friends often became doubtful about Mido’s intentions for coming to Louisiana. With skepticism from every direction, the pair’s journey to marriage grew increasingly fragile. Yet love often finds a way through even the most difficult circumstances. It appears that Debby and Mido ultimately overcame all hurdles together through patience, reassurance, and consistent effort.

Mido is Making His Mark in the Film, Modeling, and Hospitality Industries

Mohamed Fayed, popularly known as Mido, has spent years building a name for himself in Egypt’s entertainment industry through his passion, creativity, and a deep dedication to his craft. As an actor, he devoted himself to fully embodying every character he portrayed on screen. Mido notably appears on ‘Abu Omar Al Masry’ (2018), season 2 of ‘Cuffs’ (2018), and ‘The Choice’ or ‘El Ekhteyar’ (2020). All of those projects helped strengthen his growing reputation in the industry. Besides that, he has garnered a large fanbase on social media, especially Instagram and Facebook, where he currently has over 671K and 27K followers, respectively.

On both platforms, Mido offers his followers a sneak peek into both his professional achievements and personal experiences. By April of the same year, Mido achieved another significant milestone when he became the CEO and co-founder of M O M Golden Pyramid’s View Inn in Cairo, Egypt.

Mido had always maintained an incredible relationship with his parents. Unfortunately, he was left devastated when his mother unexpectedly passed away in February 2024. To this day, he continues to share the moments they spent together and express how much the profound loss left a void in his heart. Yet, through it all, he received immense support from his father and frequently describes him as his “best friend.” Away from the spotlight, Mido enjoys exploring the various corners of Egypt and visiting museums whenever he gets the chance.

Debby and Mido Are Seemingly Keeping Details About Their Bond Private

Since the beginning of their relationship, Debby and Mido have been making meaningful memories, strengthening their bond through shared experiences. In March 2024, the pair once again traveled across Egypt together, away from the pressures of everyday life. Their moments together reflected a sense of comfort and happiness, from playfully enjoying time in a swimming pool to smiling beside one another. Even today, subtle signs suggest their relationship has grown stronger. Debby and Mido continue to follow each other on Instagram.

However, it is worth noting that Mido hasn’t posted any pictures of them together on his social media pages. On the contrary, Debby still showcases several of their pictures together. Most recently, in January 2026, she shared a picture from her trip to Alexandria, Egypt, alongside Mido, and mentioned how she was missing the place. While the couple has likely chosen to navigate their romance out of the public eye, they haven’t publicly confirmed whether they have tied the knot yet.
