In the episode titled ‘My Father the Cannibal’ of Investigation Discovery’s ‘Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks,’ the primary focus is on the gruesome murder of Helle, committed by his then-boyfriend, Isakin Drabbad. The consequences of his actions weren’t limited to him, as his young daughter, Jamie-Lee Arrow, also bore the burden of his crimes. Making an appearance on the documentary, Jamie-Lee recounted her childhood in detail and shared all the traumatic experiences related to the Skara Cannibal.
Jamie-Lee Arrow Always Had an Unstable Relationship With Her Father
Born on July 25, 2001, Jamie-Lee Arrow was raised in Borås, Sweden. When she was only one year old, her parents separated and were given joint custody of their daughter. Although she stayed with her mother, Jamie-Lee used to catch up with her father, Isakin Drabbad, on weekends and holidays. Soon after his divorce, Isakin started seeing Helle, with whom his daughter shared a close bond. However, when Isakin’s relationship with Helle spiraled into chaos, it left young Jamie-Lee with some traumatic memories. In November 2010, her world turned upside down when she received the news of Helle’s passing. She was devastated to learn that Isakin had killed her in a brutal manner and also ate her flesh after committing the murder.

Although he was convicted of murder in 2011, the Skara Cannibal was sent to a psychiatric hospital instead of a prison facility. Since she was subjected to screaming at a young age, Jamie was hesitant and nervous about meeting her father in the hospital, two years after Helle’s murder. As the reunion went fine, she started depending on him, telling him about her substance abuse and drinking habits. She also opened up about getting bullied by others, for which he suggested using voodoo dolls and getting back at her bullies. When Jamie-Lee was 17, she was severely depressed and contemplated taking her own life. In order to combat that, Isakin made her perform a ritual that involved selling her soul to the devil.
While in a vulnerable state, she turned to him for support, and he, in turn, allegedly influenced her and changed her worldview, isolating her from her loved ones. In 2016, Isakin was allowed to leave the hospital several hours per week without any supervision. In order to make the most of the opportunity, Jamie-Lee moved into an apartment nearby to spend more time with her father. When she confronted her about the murder, he claimed that Helle had been asking him to kill her since they met. He alleged that in order to get admitted to a psychiatric hospital instead of ending up in prison, he went to extreme lengths. Ultimately, a heated argument broke out between Isakin and Jamie-Lee, leading to them parting ways for several years.
Jamie-Lee Arrow’s Life Revolves Around Her Partner and Kids
Still not completely over her father’s involvement in the gruesome crime, Jamie-Lee Arrow distanced herself from him and worked on changing her life for the better. That’s when she met Dardan Bytyci, with whom she got into a relationship. They have been together since at least 2020, but their journey together was not as smooth as they had hoped. As per Jamie-Lee, they were not good for each other in the initial phases, as both came with baggage, which resulted in frequent arguments. However, “When I found out I was pregnant, I remembered the promise I’d made to myself. I promised that if I ever had children, I would give them the kind of upbringing I never had. I would never let them go through the same things I did,” she said.
Aiming to provide a good future for their child and become doting parents, Jamie-Lee and her partner focused on leading a healthy life by eating better, meditating, and exercising regularly. She added, “…We started treating each other with love. We wanted to give each other the kind of security we never had as kids. We needed to heal, once and for all.” Finally, in March 2022, they became parents for the first time as she gave birth to Sylvester. Things have been looking up ever since then for her and her family. The next year, Jamie-Lee and Dardan embraced several adventures as they sold their flat and started living out of their van, which they drove to many destinations.
In the same year, another good news came the couple’s way as they welcomed their second child, Birdie, on September 11, 2024. Upon Birdie’s birth, Jamie-Lee made a few promises to her: “I promise you safety. I promise you unconditional love. I promise you laughter and happiness. I promise you dance and song. I promise you my presence. I promise to always trust you. I promise you will always be able to trust me.” Apart from being a devoted wife and doting mother of two, Jamie-Lee is also a travel enthusiast. Around April 2025, she explored the streets of Stockholm along with her partner and children and made many memories.
Jamie-Lee is a Published Author and a Content Creator Today
After working on it for a couple of years, Jamie-Lee Arrow published her book titled ‘Skarakannibalens Dotter’ (‘The Daughter of the Crowd Cannibal’) in October 2023. The process of writing the book was therapeutic in many ways as it helped her put everything into perspective. Currently residing in London, England, Jamie-Lee runs a YouTube channel with her partner, Dardan Bytyci, where she posts family vlogs regularly, keeping her subscribers up to date with her life.
During the time they embraced Van life, the couple documented most of their adventurous journey and shared it with their subscribers. Besides that, she also creates engaging and motivational content for her Instagram handle. Due to the fame she has garnered through her content creation and her association with Isakin Drabbad, she is invited on podcasts. In April 2025, Jamie also featured on the ‘DIALOGISKT’ podcast, which is hosted by Victor De Almeida.
