The journey of Johanna Victoria Storm and Daniel Fjäll on season 3 of Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind: Sweden’ proved just how unpredictable emotions can be. Initially, both of them felt a stronger connection towards two other cast members. When Daniel began speaking with Ellen, he felt a powerful connection with her, and she became his first choice. Similarly, Johanna felt her conversations with fellow cast member, Ibrahim, flowed naturally, but the potential connection came to a sudden halt when he explained that his heart was set on someone else. Rather than backing away, she kept exploring, which eventually led her to Daniel. The turning point came when Ellen told Daniel that she had decided to choose someone else, but he quickly reassured her that someone else had already become his true first choice. During his and Johanna’s next date, the former opened up that she has endometriosis and explained it might be difficult for her to have children naturally. However, Daniel quickly clarified that it didn’t matter to him how they became parents but rather how they were building their life together. His acceptance made her feel understood, and he wasted no time proposing to her.
When Johanna and Daniel finally met face-to-face after their engagement, the latter admitted he was utterly captivated by her beauty. Their connection seemed to grow stronger as they reached the vacation with the other couples, where he surprised Johanna by remembering her birthday. Sadly, things took a turn when all five couples gathered on the beach. Johanna confided to the other women that she and Daniel were moving at different paces in their relationship, but she didn’t share it with him because she didn’t want to scare him away. The day after Johanna and Daniel returned from the beach, she admitted that they hadn’t spent much time together the previous day, which made her feel disconnected from him.
Deep down, she wanted Daniel to show more curiosity about her life, but instead, she felt unseen and unheard. Tensions further began to surface when Johanna and Daniel went on a date. Although Johanna tried to open up during the meal, sharing personal details about her life, Daniel didn’t ask her any questions regarding them. When he briefly left the table to use the restroom, she immediately called over a production team member and confided that, before the date, Daniel had told her he wasn’t sure if he wanted to continue. Johanna revealed that he had even considered quitting the experiment, which left her feeling vulnerable.
Johanna and Daniel’s Different Communication Styles Led Them to Drift Apart
The situation grew more complicated when Johanna finally told Daniel that they communicated differently. The latter began trying to understand his partner better, eventually asking her about her love language to ensure she felt appreciated. Yet, despite their continuous efforts, the couple continued to struggle with their communication. When Daniel had the opportunity to meet Ellen again at the engagement party, the encounter sparked his curiosity about what might have happened if their connection in the pods had continued. Further uncomfortable feelings arose for Johanna when she discovered that he had recorded her on his phone without her permission during an argument. Although Daniel insisted that she brought up the matter first, she emphasized that she would never do it to him.
After the party, Johanna overheard Daniel speaking on the phone, explaining that he would rather do military service than try being with her. Although he tried to reassure her that his feelings had changed, she decided to visit her mother. When she finally met Daniel again, Johanna said they couldn’t communicate properly, and the bad moments outweighed the good ones. She decided not to continue their relationship, marking the end of their journey on the show. From what we can tell, neither Johanna nor Daniel has even attempted to maintain any connection between them beyond the show. They don’t follow each other on Instagram, and neither has mentioned the other on their social media profiles, making it clear that they are now completely focused on their respective lives. We should also mention that Daniel has since moved on as he has found love with someone new, revealing during the reunion that they have been together for around 6 months.
Johanna is Flourishing as an Event Manager While Embracing Life’s Adventures
Johanna Victoria Storm started her impressive career as an Assistant Event Coordinator at Soirée Weddings & Events, Inc. in August 2010. She left the position in June 2011 before becoming an Event Coordinator for ZMM Group in the following September. She served there until September 2012, and eventually her passion for organizing memorable experiences led her down a similar path. Johanna then worked in various roles, including Event Manager at Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sales Manager at Volvo Cars, Sales Executive at Deicorp and Belle Property, and Sales Associate at Raine & Horne Group. Eventually, she joined CUPRA City Garage in Sydney/ CUPRA Artarmon as a Manager and as an Event Marketing Manager at Alto Group in August 2022. Johanna ultimately moved on from the previous company in September 2025.
Johanna has also been reflecting her growing influence with professional networks as the Vice President of SACC Young Professionals since September 2023. When she is not busy with her profession, her world completely revolves around her family, especially her father. Another significant part of Johanna’s heart belongs to her furry pups, Rocky and Whiskey. The 38-year-old is also a music lover who often attends concerts, such as the Strummingbird Festival in November 2025. Additionally, she is an avid traveler who witnessed the amazing landscapes of Ibiza, Spain, in November 2024, before heading to Barcelona the following month. Whenever Johanna gets the opportunity, she enjoys visiting lively carnivals, strolling through peaceful forest trails, kayaking through still waters, and relaxing by the ocean.

Outside of work, Daniel has built a large following of 4K on Instagram, where he often highlights moments with his family. Whether it be celebrating his father’s birthday or checking out the cockpit of an aircraft with his brother, Carl-Henric, he never misses a chance to make lifelong memories with them. In his leisure time, Daniel enjoys soaking up the sun at the beach, exploring nature, or playing tennis with his team.
