Lily Collin will be heading to Hollywood North for her next feature. The filming of the Prime Video movie ‘Polly Pocket,’ starring Collins, will take place in Toronto, Ontario, between February 9 and April 20, 2027. Clea DuVall will direct, based on a screenplay by Jordan Weiss and Dan Brier. Reese Witherspoon is co-producing via her media house, Hello Sunshine.

While the plot is under wraps, the movie will be a live-action take based on the popular Polly Pocket toy line of portable plastic compact playsets and micro-dolls first launched in 1989 by Bluebird Toys. Mattel currently owns them. The story will revolve around a young girl and a pocket-sized woman who become friends. It is highly probable that Collins will play the pocket-sized Polly Pocket doll.
While Lily Collins is primarily known for playing Emily Cooper in Netflix’s ‘Emily in Paris,’ she has a string of strong performances in feature films, including Ellen in the eating disorder drama ‘To the Bone,’ Elizabeth “Liz” Kendall in the Ted Bundy movie ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile,’ Molly Bennett in the horror flick ‘MaXXXine,’ and Rita Alexander in ‘Mank,’ which is based on screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz’s journey of writing ‘Citizen Kane.’ Her upcoming projects include Season 6 of ‘Emily in Paris,’ which will arrive this December, and Jason Orley’s R-rated comedy ‘Close Personal Friends,’ also starring Jack Quaid, Brie Larson, and Henry Golding, which has yet to receive a release date.
Clea DuVall has made her feature directorial debut with the dramedy ‘The Intervention.’ Her second feature directorial is ‘Happiest Season,’ a Holiday rom-com featuring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis. She has also helmed episodes of the Freevee coming-of-age show ‘High School,’ Peacock’s crime comedy series ‘Poker Face,’ and Hulu’s John Green novel adaptation ‘Looking for Alaska.’
