Chris DiCesare’s alleged experiences at SUNY Geneseo have become the centerpiece of one of the stories featured in paranormal circles. While he recounted his own encounters, his friend Linda Kalasinski also reportedly went through incidents that continue to send shivers down her spine. These experiences are claimed to have taken place during their time at Erie Hall, a dormitory with a growing reputation for strange activity. In Netflix’s ‘True Haunting,’ under the episode titled ‘Eerie Hall,’ Linda is interviewed alongside Chris. She provides her account of the unsettling events and her testimony adds to the alleged hauntings and highlights the impact on multiple students.
Linda Kalasinski Allegedly Felt a Presence Pressing Her Down in Her Dorm
When Linda Fox Kalasinski first met Chris DiCesare at SUNY Geneseo, she found him to be gentle, affable, and remarkably genuine compared to others around him. She noticed subtle changes in his behavior during a toga party, though she didn’t understand what had triggered them. It wasn’t until she heard about his alleged apparitions and strange experiences that she sat down with him to talk. Chris admitted that his experiences might sound unbelievable, but Linda assured him she didn’t think he was crazy. She shared that a year before college, while volunteering as a camp leader, a thunderstorm had struck the tent where two girls she was caring for were sleeping.
She had to perform CPR on one of them, but sadly, they didn’t survive. It was an incident that had profoundly shaken her. Back at college, Linda alleged that a few days after a priest visited Chris’ dorm room, she felt a heavy pressure against her back in her own dorm, which prevented her from moving. Some of the pictures Jeff Ungar took were shown to her during the interview, and she broke down. She insisted the experiences had been very real and made her uncomfortable to this day. Over time, she said that those involved drifted apart as they were unwilling to continually relive what had happened.
